Pirate Production Costa Rica number 4
Pirate Production - Next day we moved from Dominical to nearby more calm area in between it and Queopos with beatiful sandy beach. It felt so great to run there with the sun rises, great place, views, peace and freedom for mind. This was our headquarter for next days.

SUP Fitness - Life and you are trending! New beginnings and looking down the line of life begin here. Lean back, enjoy the ride into the New Year as great adventures await you. This is the happiest place for me to be as no wave or ride is ever the same. Release yourself from fear, don't try, do and always treat others as you would want to be treated.
Out of Sight, Out of Mind The Ocean and Plastic Pollution Connect Us All.
Out of Sight, Out of Mind - What do China, Hawaii, Washington, and Oregon have in common? The North Pacific Gyre. Between last spring and this fall, we've found hundreds of bottle caps among other plastic debris from Asia, which aren't sold in America.
Jackson Kayak Adam Chappell New to Factory Team
Jackson Kayak - After paddling for Jackson kayak for many years, I am very excited that I am being placed on the factory team. When I started paddling, I would always look up to the Jackson Kayak factory team as the best of the best.
SUPracer Chasing Bumps On Reunion Island
SUPracer - The French young gun and F-One team rider escaped mainland France to get some much needed New Year's sun on the tiny little island in the Indian Ocean, an island that has some of the funnest ocean in the world apart from being a SUP haven, Reunion is home to some world class surf breaks as well.
SUP Magazine The River Life
SUP Magazine - This summer, SUP magazine organized a Main Salmon River trip in Idaho with Middle Fork River Expeditions. Some of the sport's best athletes signed on so we used the expedition as an opportunity to examine the state of whitewater SUP.
Werner White Water Double Feature
Werner - Need to fire your white water soul up, well let your friends at Werner Paddles help and start the New Year off right. In this white water double feature, we have Spanish star from Team System X- Werner, Aniol Serrasolses, and crew in Peru and new comer to the family, Hunt Jennings running Georgia's Desoto Falls, a stout 70 footer.
Costa Rica Rios Costa Rica Rios Our Story
Costa Rica Rios - My name is Fraser Tyrrell, and I'm one of the owners of Costa Rica Rios. The year 2000 was when it all started for us. We were both living in the British Virgin Islands, working on yachts, when Jane literally sailed into my life. Almost 14 years later, we are still going strong and things just seem to be getting better and better.
Dom Moore Getting back in the winter surf after a lay up
Dom Moore - My resolutions are fairly straightforward – up the fitness campaign to level 11 and find some really good waves to surf, these will probably be in another country somewhere. I also want to push Surf Sanctuary forward a few more notches and open up the video coaching side of things. I'll make changes on the website soon.
GRG Blog 10 Highlights of 2013
GRG Blog - It's been yet another brilliant year here at GRG's AdventureKayaking. We've ran some epic trips and are already so excited for the adventures that 2014 will bring. We have made some great memories, friends and stories from 2013 and here are a few of our favourites.
Durhamblogger Aaa Carolinas Good At Promoting Car Safety
Durhamblogger - First, for the record, I salute AAA Carolinas advocacy for highway safety legislation, automotive public policy, and doing their part to help make our roads safer for motorists. One of the benefits of being a AAA Carolinas member, in addition to utilizing their great road side assistance program, is receiving their bi-monthly Go Magazine.
Northwest Rafting Company 8 Rafting Highlights of 2013
Northwest Rafting Company - In 2013, NWRC celebrated our fifth season of running river trips - and it's been one to remember. Here are some highlights that made us proud.
PaddlingLight Best of PaddlingLight in 2013

PeakUK ClaireO reports from a successful winter training trip to Uganda
PeakUK - After an incredible year of hole boating it was time to head back to Uganda and hit the waves once more. Technically I have been focusing on developing my hole boating skills for as long as I can remember, only getting out on waves for a few days or weeks here and there, as and when I could.

The world's latest paddling headlines.

SUP Radio Show - Reluctant Kung Fu Panda Master Po authored one of my favourite lines from one of my favourite movies, Kung Fu Panda 2. Po is a somewhat famous, somewhat klutzy, somewhat out of shape, Panda Bear who somehow came to be a Master of Kung Fu in spite of himself and in the movie he manages to bring order to chaos

SURFit 2013 Surfit Year in Review

worldkayak blogs Nevis
worldkayak blogs - On the darkest day of the year I went alone to the Nevis, to give expression to some dark feelings: fear, loneliness, exposure to cold, wind and rain.
ACA New SUP Award for Boy Scouts
ACA - The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has partnered with the ACA to develop a new Stand Up Paddleboarding Award. The new SUP award was introduced at the BSA's 2013 National Jamboree in West Virginia.
Trash Paddler Skipper's Annual Report 2013
Trash Paddler - Back on the very first day of this year I looked beyond the tip of my boat's bow to a choppy Lake George in New York (above) and wondered what kind of waters I'd encounter in 2013. Now I can safely say it was a year of very pleasant paddles on numerous streams, rivers, ponds, lakes, and coastal ocean waters.
Northwest Rafting Company Join Us on The Akishma River in Siberia
Northwest Rafting Company - We have chosen the Akishma River in Eastern Siberia as our prime destination. Why did we decide to go to this river? Our previous trips have been located in more popular tourist areas of Siberia.

SUP Magazine Top 7 Natural Immune System Boosters
SUP Magazine - At this time of year, many of us have already gotten a flu shot, or are planning on getting one. Yep, it's winter, and we want to be ready to tackle the inevitable viruses and infections that are swirling around like snowflakes.
SUP Magazine Making River Sup Accessible
SUP Magazine - The river can be a mysterious place. But it doesn't have to be. Thanks to modern engineering, playparks traditionally created for kayaking but now used by all sorts of paddle-able craft from regular surfboards to SUP boards—are popping up in river towns across North America.
SUP Magazine Dropping In With Standup Paddler Daniel Kereopa
SUP Magazine - The challenge. I always get asked the questions, "Can you get barreled? Can you do an air? Can you surf a SUP like a short board? The answer is yes, but SUP is unique in its own way.

Standup Paddling Gotham and the Grand ~ Puerto Rico ~ Sup Books and Videos

Playak News Flash - January 1, 2014
The world's latest paddling headlines.
SUP Magazine Standup Paddling Gotham and the Grand
SUP Magazine - The thought pops to mind at Mile 17 on the Harlem River, but it's only a brief distraction from the pain. My right lat and triceps are cramping up so badly I can't even make a fist. I literally feel like I'm stuck in a moat, trapped outside the castle, knowing that I'm just halfway through the clockwise, 27-mile loop around Manhattan.
SUP Magazine Puerto Rico
SUP Magazine - There's something about Puerto Rico. Maybe it's the warm Caribbean water? Or the food? Whatever the draw, the island of enchantment, offers incredible paddling options: great surf, downwind runs and flatwater touring.
SUP Magazine Blue Planet Inflatable Standup Paddleboard Kickstarter Campaign
SUP Magazine - Blue Planet is launching a new line of 2014 Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboards through a campaign on Kickstarter.
Sportscene Is this how a training session looks like in 2020?
Sportscene - Ok, your drone is linked up, let's start the session now. Hearing his coach's voice, the slalom paddler takes smooth powerful strokes away from the bank, not paying any attention to the tiny battery-powered drone that buzzes 5 metres above his head.
SUP Magazine Sup Books and Videos
SUP Magazine - If you haven't started paddling yet, there is no time like the present. Make it a New Year's resolution. And when you get into a new sport, there's nothing like doing your research to find the best information available to immerse yourself in the sport.
SUP Magazine Breathing Exercises with Laird Hamilton
SUP Magazine - We tend to overlook the importance of breathing because it's something we do instinctually. We don't have to do it consciously. But when you bring consciousness to breathing, it will improve your fitness tenfold, which is beneficial for any athlete. And we just might learn something about ourselves.
Simon Westgarth Summer and The Coming of The Little Man
Simon Westgarth - Yes, you have got it, it's the end of year, and my blog is miles be hide, as normal, but here goes. Summer is full of fun, and the Mikey Mouse run in Valldal is a perfect moment in that summer's fun.
Werner As We Reflect Thank You for An Amazing 2013. Here We Come 2014.
Werner - Into the sunset of 2013. Let us wish those who have been less fortunate a new beginning as we change the calendar. Hold the spirits of those that have passed close to our hearts.
Paddle Into Fitness Gillian's 2013 Year in Review
Paddle Into Fitness - I can't believe it's already (almost) 2014! I didn't do the best job of documenting my travels, races, shoots, or certifications this year, so I figured I would do a summary of my year since I have so much to write about. I can't believe how much amazing stuff happened in just one year, and I am very thankful to my friends, family,
SUP Magazine Pure Stroke: Approval to Paddle
SUP Magazine - Here is a interesting SUP story relating to the 'O' and 'K' signs behind the parking lot at San Onofre State Beach. It reads as "OK", in the Dogpatch southern section of the beach but as you go too far to the North the sign changes to the unwelcome 'KO'. The Dogpatch SUP surfers have got that spirit that when you are on a Stand Up Paddle board regardless of who you are, your ok which is not the case in the north end of the beach.
SUPracer Who Were The Best Paddlers in The World This Year
SUPracer - One of the first ever posts on SUPracer.com was the Top 11 Of 2011, a year-end "best of" list that tried to rank the world's elite based loosely on that year's race results. In the absence of any definitive ranking system in the sport, it was a fun way to try and give some order to the world's top paddlers and also made for plenty of animated debate.
Rafting Life A Look Back at 2013
Rafting Life - This year was a fun year for paddling got on a few new rivers. Got to meet some new friends and paddle with some folks I hadn't seen in a little while. I had hoped to get out more in the fall but we have had very low levels of water on Vancouver Island. Hoping for more rain/snow as we head into 2014.
SUP Magazine The Sup Artist
SUP Magazine - I was in my late thirties and I couldn't get motivated to surf all the time if the conditions were bad or there were no waves. When the waves are bad I'm moody and Ron (House) was like, Why don't you come standup?Immediately it was tremendous. It gave me something to do when I couldn't surf.
