PeakUK: Creek One Piece beats the weather in Slovenia It was an awesome day, the water level was super good and the color of the river is something special in the winter time. Worth to do it even with frezzing cold.

Immersion Research: Daniel Dutton Rockin the Double D Drysuit! Daniel, an instructor/event coordinator at the NOC, has been getting a lot of paddling time in this winter, and is quite pleased with the new lay up! Bone dry and throwin down!

Dagger Blogs: Holcombe is Millrace Massacre and Iceman Champ Results are posted up over at BoaterTalk for the recent Millrace Massacre and Iceman Championships on the Saluda River in Columbia. Team Dagger Manager Andrew Holcombe came out on top in both competitions

Dave Hoffman: Upper Yellowjacket Creek The next horizon line is big. I caught an eddy right at the lip and wouldn't recommend doing that again. The waterfall is about 40 feet high.

Jackson Kayak: Jackson Kayak Hero: Darin McQuoid It's fun to paddle in class II and III. This is not a common comment about a craft that handles just as well on expedition class V, but the flat bottom and crisp edges of the Hero make it a pleasure to paddle on a wide array of rivers.

Nick Troutman: Winter Wonderland For over a week the weather has brought back my memories of Beachburg while being down here in TN, we have snow, ice and below freezing temperatures. Being that this had lasted longer then usual, myself and the others were starting to get the winter itch of not paddling.

Dagger Blogs: Holiday Paddling in Mexico Our flight to Mexico City took off just before a major snowstorm hit Western North Carolina and buried the area under 15 inches of snow. Jalcomulco, Veracruz is one of my favorite places. The town of about 3000 residents is located in the Antigua River Valley surrounded by beautiful hillsides of Mango orchards.

Whitewater: 2009 River Steward of the Year, Bill Cross, Comments on His Reward It was with great pride and enthusiasm that American Whitewater announced Bill Cross as our 2009 River Steward of the Year. The reward for his tireless work was much more than just good river karma however, it was a brand new kayak of his choice donated by Jackson Kayaks!
