Team Pyranha: Demshitz in "the Boat" The Boat's event this year was a lot of fun, with high water levels on the Yampa and Fish Creek. We were able to experience the event at its finest, and Demshitz were going big.

Team Pyranha: When 13 people go kayaking in Quebec I just got back from an awesome trip to Quebec. As a group of 13 we were a traveling circus and party all in one.

Jackson Kayak: California Oregon boating It was so special to be gathered with all kinds of people who loved Lars. In and amongst the group were some incredible pioneers of California whitewater, Chuck Stanley, Richard Montgomery, and Hayden Glatte.

Immersion Research: Local paddler Don Smith gets injured on Vallecito A lawyer from Pennsylvania was injured as he kayaked in Vallecito Creek, and he was extracted by emergency personnel up a 70-foot gorge.

Girls at Play: New girls at play whitewater instructional DVD in production I'm excited to announce that I've started production on my new whitewater instructional DVD for women.

Jackson Kayak Recreational: All Waters are at Dynamic Earth The staff of Dynamic Earth are fully trained on them and ready to provide any information you would need. On that note, I have to say that this is one heck of a shop.

Jackson Kayak Recreational: All Waters on Badfish Creek The All Waters, seen here, paddle so well in moving flatwater. They are also super sweet in solid III to IV- type of whitewater, but today was all about a gorgeous 150 cfs creek winding through the plains just south of town.

Werner: Andy Bridge paddles the San Juans Andy and team covered 55 miles visiting 5 islands. Lots of great hiking, stellar weather, seals, and awesome sunsets.

P&H Paddlers: Homer, Alaska I have been lucky enough to have been invited to Homer, Alaska by my friend Tom Pogson who runs Alaska Kayak School and organizes the Immersion Skills Symposium over Memorial Day weekend.

Dagger: Tyler Bradt and Christie Glissmeyer world records Congratulations to Dagger ambassador athletes, Christie Glissmeyer and Tyler Bradt, for each setting world record waterfall descents this spring.

Jackson Kayak: It has been a magical spring here in West Virginia! Videoboating in West Virginia has been something that I have looked forward to every year since I started.

Jackson Kayak: Regional team JK welcomes Alec Voorhees from Idaho I met Alec as a very young boy out at the Bladder Wave location on the Payette River in 2005. I have watched him grow up each year in both age, size, and skill level. His personality has always been very happy, excited, pleasant and positive, which is perfect for our team.

Paddling Instructor Blog: RIP world renowned boat designer, Phil Bolger The body of renowned boat designer, Phil Bolger was found on last Sunday morning by his wife and business partner, Susanne Altenburger. Bolger had taken his own life. He was 81 years old. Phil Bolger was a prolific designer working on boats of all sizes including giant schooners, kayaks and the worlds smallest dingy, "The Folding Schooner".

Fluid Blog: South Mineral creek, Durango Colorado The run is short, halfway between a park 'n huck and a real run. I ended up doing two laps, while Natalie called it a day after just one.

Jackson Kayak: Hot hot hot! The weather was super warm, but unfortunately Kimshew was simply out of water. Looking at the gauges, the new Mt Aukum gauge showed that one of my other favorites was up, the Upper Middle Cosumnes.

Fluid Blog: Go Forth Creek Go forth is very steep, technical, and challenging with only one eddy in 1/4 mile and I'm really stoked to have caught it.

Jackson Kayak: Sweet Cheeks review EJ, for all of the talk of your sweet cheeks being about comfort and a bit of extra "umph" in regards to playboating, you have completely missed the greatest attribute of all: Sweet Cheeks takes the Super Hero's river running/creeking ability to a whole new level!

surfski.info: Hat tricks for Bouman and Eray in the McCarthy Toyota King of the Bay race Matt Bouman secured a hat-trick of wins in of the Discovery Men's Health Surf Ski Series with a dramatic win in the McCarthy Toyota King of the Bay surf ski race, after he took an early break out of the harbour on a boat wave and never looked back.

the nile progression: Nepal teaser video Here's a little movie I made from our recent trip to Nepal, just a bit of an overall feel of the place and some photo's.

Level 6 Blog: South Branch of Feather Once the waterfalls start they don't stop till the end. An array of 10-20ft drops, a 45 footer named "99 problems", and a 50 footer to finish out the run. One of the most spectacular canyons that I have ever seen in my life.

Whitewater-Koa: Tour 09 begins On our way toward Quebec City we took a detour and ran a cool drop called Chutes Mont De Peine with a spectacular backdrop of a massive cascading manky drop.

LL Ladies Lounge: Flows are going up This canyon in Bend is super fun as it fills out a bit. It continues on down through Lava.

Palm Blogs: The Basso and Loana A full day of sunburn, dehydration and 200m slides aplenty we finally reached the Cascada di Loana.

SUP Surf: Olukai Hoolaulea Race: Painful but fun Before the race weekend, I kept looking at the wind forecasts and got worried because the forecast was for a headwind and not the awesome 25+ mph tailwind that we see and hear about.

Desperate Measures: Trent Valley test centre Desperate Measures has just taken delivery of our Mad River and Wavesport demo boats as part of our expanding Test centre.

Team Pyranha: Demshitz Kill it Tour 09 So we partied hard then drove hard all the way across the USA arriving in Reno Nevada with two more of Demshitz in the van topping out at 5.

Inflatable Kayak Blog: National Fitness Month – May 2009 May is National Fitness Month. So I encourage all you paddlers to get out and enjoy the fresh air and get some exercise. Of course, dipping the kayak paddle into the water isn't the only fun fitness activity.

surfski.info: Surfski.info Review: Think Uno These "soft chines" start at about the paddler's knee and continue to just in front of the rudder. The hull shape between the chines is a very shallow arch.

Isle of Man Kayak: Isle of Man Kayaking - Mass Paddle. Steve Watt of Manx Paddle Sports organized a "mass" paddle from Port Soderick to Gansey Beach, with 17 kayakers. It was great to see so many people and so many different kayaks on display.

Adrian Tregoning: Mzimvubu – Day 2 – 11 Hours of Pleasure! Tuesday 25 November 2008 and we were up earlier than usual. We knew it was going to be a very intense day and we knew we would have to paddle from virtually sunrise to sunset. I looked up at the blue sky that was forming overhead and stretched out my muscles that were feeling a little stiff from the consecutives days' of paddling. It felt good to be next to the river once again, away from the hustle and bustle of 'normal' life.
