Another commendable aspect of the event is that it raises money for multiple charities. Yes a tough paddle challenge for a good cause. Team Gb Tops Paracanoe Medal Table At Euros Portugal Sportscene - What a couple of weeks it has been for GB; Fiona Pennie becomes K1W European Champion, Hannah Brown becomes Wildwater World Champion, Ben Brown finishes a superb fourth in the Marathon Euros and now it is the paracanoeists' turn. Interview with Russian Sprint Canoeist Ilya Pervukhin Sportscene - Ilya Pervukhin (born July, 6, 1991) is a Russian sprint canoeist. He was the winner of the World and European junior championships. A ceremony marked the occasion during the second annual SandRidge Energy Stars and Stripes River Festival. Funds for the lights came from MAPS 3, a 10-year, $777 million construction program designed to improve the quality of life in Oklahoma City.

A total of 1000 paddlers will compete for the title of National Champion and club pride in various canoe and kayak events over distances of 200, 500, 1000 and 6000 metres. But honestly, I would back this company whether I was on the team or not because I believe in their product 100%. I would never paddle for a company that didn't make products that I was stoked on. News Watch Headlines Kai Lenny and Kody Kerbox Battle It Out in Chicago Naish - The Stand Up World Series hit Chicago this past weekend for stop #6 of the Stand Up World Series, and the opening leg of the US Trilogy of events. The Struggle Over Riverbed Mining in India International Rivers - Humans have always had a special relationship with rivers. They provide fresh water for drinking, irrigation, washing and religious ceremonies. But rivers are not just water. Tuakopai Stream Louise Jull - The Tuakopai River runs through the Kaimai Ranges in Tauranga, New Zealand. It is a super fun class 4+ river with lots of nice drops and fun slides. It requires heavy amounts of rainfall. Mark Athanacio Race Re-Cap, Sarasota Sup Race 2 Hovie SUP - The venue was at the largest rowing/aquatic facility in the western hemisphere, Nathan Benderson Park. Conditions were perfect with light winds and super glassy water. The elite race was 2 laps around a 3 mile loop and the open race was 1 lap. This is their 5th straight title in the Series and all are poised to take on a world packed event in San Francisco next weekend. East Race Hometown Throwdown Recap worldkayak blogs - Yesterday was another beautiful day in sunny South Bend, Indiana. We had 15 boaters turn out to throw some ends (or some paddles) and earn a few laughs down at the east race rodeo hole. Kayak Fishing for Spotted Bass YakAngler - Anglers pursuing bass in the Southeast are liable to catch several different species depending on where they are fishing. In my area on the Chattahoochee River we have largemouth, shoal bass, and spotted bass. The spotted bass is a firecracker of a fish that strikes hard, jumps a lot, and is incredibly strong. Connor Baxter & Annabel Anderson Secure Bullet Wins in Chicago Waterman League - Connor Baxter (Starboard) and Annabel Anderson (Starboard) both notch another impressive victory today here at the World Series Stop number 6 in Chicago, winning both the long distance and overall.
