The world's latest paddling headlines.
Kokatat Blog Ice Age Bass'n
Kokatat Blog - Two gentleman from Louisiana and a long time friend from the Philadelphia area made the trip north to fish with me on the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. The smallmouth bass cooperated nicely. We brought a lot of fish to hand and even caught three citation class fish. All were returned to the water unharmed to bring enjoyment to another angler in the future. It was a great day on the water with old friends and new.
Kokatat Blog How late in the season should I wear my dry suit?
Kokatat Blog - Spring fishing rolled in with warmer temperatures. However, the sudden rise in air temperatures misleads the uninitiated kayak angler into thinking dangerous conditions have passed. Not so. The water temperatures are barely scratching the 50-degree mark, which is still too cold to go for a long swim if your kayak were to roll.

Jackson Kayak Snookzilla
Jackson Kayak - Its been a personal goal this year to venture out of my comfort zones in search of giant snook in the back country. With the weather cooling down the "big" word become ever so prevalent; The transaction.
