Dan Gavere Wins Cold Stroke Classic Starboard - Starboard Team rider and 4x Stand Up White Water Champion, Dan Gavere, has just won the Cold Stroke Classic in North Carolina. In Support of Paddle for The North Nikki Rekman - Paddle for the North, is the adventure of Gabriel Rivest, Scott Sinton, Simon Lucas, Alexandre Deschenes-Denomme, Matthew Holmes and Michah Rauguth and their desire to bring awareness to the importance of protecting Canadian Watersheds and more specifically, The Kokatat Maximus Prime PFD CKS Blog - This past Spring saw some some amazing swiftwater rescue scenarios initiated by the Swift Water Safety institute, one of which I was fortunate enough to attend. The course gave me an appreciation for a well functioning Rescue PFD and all the thought and enginituity that goes into one in order to help keep us and our friends safe out there on the river.
