Starboard (Thursday 28th) *** - More familiar with seeing the designer dresses grace catwalks & high fashion boutiques, America's Cup teams, visitors & restaurant patrons in Auckland's Viaduct Harbour were treated to what may be a world first fashion show on water last Friday. 20 girls of all ages donned designer dresses from Yvonne Bennetti & flowing kaftans from La Madu, strapped their high heels to their paddleboards and graced the waters of Viaduct Harbour in the company of superyachts & the latest editions to the America's Cup – the AC45 Catamarans before lunching at Soul Bar & Bistro... Northwest Huckfest- Tyler Bradt runs Sunset Falls Teva Blog (Saturday 30th) ** - Tyler Bradt runs Sunset Falls, Washington . We are back in the game! It's been 4 months since my back break and although I still feel it, I am running big drops again, paddli... Italian Alps Sweet (Monday 2nd) ** - Few hours after getting off ferry from Corsica I was back in the canyon with my kayak. Me, Meg Smith and Jakub Sedivy have met up with professional film maker Petr Kaspar and kayaker Pavel Faustus from Czech Republic and we started week full of kayaking and filming. Even though  water  was low and weather cold and rainy we got out there, filmed, shot and got some quality material to use. Here is a little bit to see how last week has been treating me. Jackson Kayak (Tuesday 3rd) ** - I have had my carbon Rock Star for some time now, but unfortunately, sometimes, the cobbler goes without the shoes.   In this case I am not always in front of the camera, or around with a camera as much of my paddling is just about the paddling.   However, today, I borrowed Stephen Wright's camera, had Clay ferry it over to the South Channel of the Reno Whitewater Park where Kristine was walking KC and asked her to take some photos of me paddling my carbon Rock Star.   Rockstar Plus Buseater= AWESOME! Jackson Kayak (Monday 2nd) ** - After 20 hours of driving up to Canada for the Grand Prix we finally arrived. And buseater was in. We got a full day on it doing big tricks and lots of combos.  Great day and can't wait for some more big wave surfing over the next 2 weeks. The lost River Wavesport Blogs (Sunday 1st) ** - Each river nestled in the mountains is invaluable. The scenarios created by the water are wonderful and often revealed only to paddlers. There was a single tree between me and the cliff above the river, and I skidded down into [...] from star light to spring Delight Simon Westgarth (Wednesday 4th) ** - The long Winter's night, soon drew up, lighter evenings were noticeable by the end of February, and nordic skiing with the head torch was not always needed, late Winter in Norway is a place to focus the mind ready for Mexico: Chiapas Kayaking Jackson Kayak (Saturday 30th) ** - Mexico is one of my most favorite places in the world to paddle. I love the warm weather and water, the mexico food, cheap beer, great rapids and waterfalls, it just has everything. Though most of the time I spend in the state of Vera Cruz. Though pretty much everywhere in Mexico has great whitewater, most well known would be Chiapas. Ben Stookesberry was one of the main pioneers for the area and most famously the Santa Domingo. Spring 11 Alpine River Leader Images Gene17 (Sunday 1st) ** - Here our a few images from Gene17′s recent Alpine River Leader Training course based in Slovenia on the very fine Soča River. On the ARLT course we cover all the aspects for future Class III/IV river leaders and include where desired all the aspects of the BCU 5 Star WW Kayaking River Leader Award. Our next ARLT course, is in October, again on the Soča in Slovenia.
