News Watch Headlines Silver Islet to Rossport Chicago Area Sea Kayakers Association - Over 700 miles from Chicago, millions of years of volcanic and glacial activity on Lake Superior's northern shore have created a sea kayaker's playground. Summertime Jackson Kayak - Recently, Creek Siders paddled one of the prettiest rivers around, the Ohanepecosh. The Ohane is a summertime classic I try and hit every year. East Coast Tournament Steve Gibson - On August 25,2012 I loaded up the kayak and headed over to Florida's east coast to participate in the 2012 Kayak Canoe Inshore Fishing Tournament benefiting to help keep Emily in her school. Middle Fork American Rafting Trips All Outdoors WW Rafting - Being heavily regulated and legislated (and damned), the Middle Fork of the American River can basically be turned "on and off" by the Powers that Be. The Fat Paddler by Sean Smith Fat Paddler - Writing and launching a book has been an amazing experience. I've learnt a lot about the challenges of writing, the challenges of working with a publisher, and most of all the challenges trying to get distribution. Amazing Trip to Alaska Werner - This past summer, July 18th-August 5th, John Carmody and 2 friends, Nige Robinson and David Larkin set off for Alaska's Kenai Penisula. A Nordkapp in Ferryland Newfoundland Kayakoholic - Today we paddled from from Ferryland to Cape Broyle Head and back. Other than a ten minute test, today was the first paddle for Clyde in his new-to-him Nordkapp. A First Paddle Race Experience Austin Kayak - A little while ago, ACK had the opportunity to get involved with a local Texas paddle race called the La Grange Kanoe Klasika.
