Tuck Fest 2013 Gallery SUP Magazine - The first annual Tuck Fest was a hit at the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. SUP competitors duked it out in flat water races, river surfing and a whitewater competition. 2013 Riverhouse Rendezvous worldkayak - The 2013 Riverhouse Rendezvous was a spectacular day full of exciting competition on the water. Contrary to various frigid weather conditions seen in past years, competitors were treated to one of Central Oregon's famous 300 days of sunshine. Belar Diaz'S Puerto Rico SUPracer - After spending part of the winter surfing and training in Puerto Rico, coming back to the island wasn't a hard decision; I had to go to Miami the week after the contest for work so a couple of last minute changes and I was on the way. Esa Crowns Southeast Surfing Champions SUP Magazine - The Eastern Surfing Association held its 2013 Southeast Regional Surfing Championships at the New Smyrna Beach Inlet in New Smyrna Beach, Florida this past weekend, showcasing the best amateur surfing and paddle surfing in the region. Leon'S Triathlon to Include First Olympic Sup Triathlon Division SUP Magazine - Leon's Triathlon, known as 'the world's fastest Olympic triathlon,' will include a standup paddleboard (SUP) division in its 2013 running, June 1 – 2, 2013. Athletes participating in the SUP division will race SUP in place of the traditional swim leg of the triathlon. Standup for The Cure and Junior Pro & Youth Sup Fiesta SUP Magazine - Summertime is just around the corner and May 4 – 5 are two days to block out for SUP fun! A Few Weird Weeks in Wales SquareRock - Well it's been a few weird weeks in Wales recently with some bizarre weather, heavy snow meaning that for the second time since January, I have been snowed in and when it snows there is only one thing to do and that is to ski and sledge and having a private hill to use only made it easier, but not owning a sledge I had to use my Jackson Kayaks Fun Runner Sixty which is an excellent sledge and kayak. Cowichan River Youth Kayaking (Cryk) Festival Report by Darcy and Avery Wilkins Nikki Rekman - Last weekend I had the privilege of attending the 1st annual Cowichan River Youth Kayak Festival(CRYK Fest) on Vancouver Island hosted by Dan Norman and the Brentwood gang just outside of Duncan B.C. In previous years this event used to be a Northwest Cup slalom race but this year they focused on a youth festival to help promote new interest in the sport for kids.
