News Watch Headlines The New Board Curse NC Paddle Surfer - The wind keeps trying to kill me. Rigged the 4.5. Way over-powered. Weather stations nearby report gusts to 36. Off shore buoy reporting gusts to 56. I just want a normal day to confirm the board is dialed in perfect, before I shape a second one for Jacky. The board does feel great so far. Astral Green Jacket – First Look unsponsored - I was never really a big fan of the previous Astral Green Jacket. I loved the features and the design but it simply didn't fit me very well. Gone Again Luuka Jones - Silently praying that all of my luggage is going to get on the plane, I am about to cross the world once again to the Northern Hemisphere, racing the Pyrenees cups in Spain and France in the first two weeks and will stay over to continue my build to the World Championships in September. Werner Team Paddler, Craig Kleckner, Boofs and American Classic Werner - I love to see the Werner team paddlers, still enjoying the places everday paddlers can enjoy. They'll surf draining barrels but also wasit high beach breaks. Circumnavigate countries but also go for a paddle with their kids. Paddling Around The World with Jamie Mitchell SUPracer - It all started when we were in the United Arab Emirates for the Abu Dhabi All-Stars Invitational event. 10 Days In The Desert included a few days in Abu Dhabi and a couple at the Wadi Adventure wave pool. Bound for Mallorca and The Port Adriano Sup Race SUPracer - I'm sitting at the airport in Stockholm, Sweden, waiting for a flight to Palma. In 20 minutes I'll be flying down to Majorca for the Port Adriano SUP Race, which is happening on the 27th & 28th in, funnily enough, Port Adriano. 2013 Carolina Cup Wpa National Race World Paddle Association - The first WPA National race of 2013 kicks off with the Carolina Cup in Wrightsville Beach, NC on April 26-28, 2013. The Carolina Cup is put on by the Wrightsville Beach Paddleboard Club with the Blockade Runner Hotel serving as race venue. 2013 Sarasota Cca All Photo Release Challenge Steve Gibson - On April 20 I fished the 2013 Sarasota CCA event and was lucky enough to take home the 1st Place largest Redfish award. I fished Sarasota Bay with a good friend of mine Rusty Driver. Angler in Training Steve Gibson - Lately I have been taking the little man to the pond behind the house. We have been catching a bunch of small Bass and Tilapia. I have been teaching how to spot fish on the bank and how to make a good cast. Team Brown California Challenge SUP Magazine - Mike and Willis Brown, a father-son duo, are no strangers to charitable events. Mike co-founded the Cape Cod Bay Challenge in Massachusetts in 2008. They had seven paddlers that first year; last year there were 75, all helping to raise money for Christopher's Haven, which provides housing and support networks to children and their families as they deal with cancer. Sun Kosi , 11th May 2013 Guarenteed GRG Blog - We are headed to the Sun Kosi, 'The River of Gold' on the 11th May 2013 and the best news is that there's still spaces available for you to join. Us Sup Tour- New Jersey World Paddle Association - The second event on the US SUP Tour will be held at Seaside Heights, NJ on May 18 & 19 2013. The US SUP Tour sanctioned by the World Paddle Association and Surfing America will offer SUP Surfing with Professional and Open divisions for both Men and Women and SUP Races with Professional and Open divisions for both Men and Women Beau O'Brian Wins Inaugural Harry'S Paddle Sup Race SUPracer - Check out the results from the recent Harry's Paddle SUP Race, which was won by Beau O'Brian and Neelie Brown. The inaugural Harry's Paddle, a charity event, was held in Newcastle, Australia a couple of weeks back and drew a determined field of local and interstate paddlers.
