On Saturday, September 21st Ocean Minded joined the South OC Surfrider Chapter and 150 volunteers for California Coastal Cleanup Day, removing approximately 1,000 pounds of waste from entering our beautiful ocean. After the seven hour drive north to the very tip of Michigan's Keewanaw Peninsula, 2 days on the water and another trekking through the wilds, and I mean WILDS of the Keewanaw's endless forests, then the long drive back. The beach boys have in the 1960's era extended their surfing talent by doing SUP, since then many of these beach boys have continued to SUP though out their life. Huntington Beach Pro Grand Slam Sees World Class Action Waterman League - The Huntington Beach Pro Grand Slam presented by Starboard saw unprecedented performances from the world's best athletes in both surfing and racing, as over 20 nations congregated in Surf City USA for a historic event just south of the Pier.
