Jackson Kayak - November 22 2014 marks the 6th year that Five2Nine have hosted movie nights in the Ottawa area. This is the first year we have opened it up everyone as the Ottawa Paddling Film Festival. Not only are we highlighting some incredible whitewater kayaking films but we now have Stand Up Paddling, OC1 and other disciplines.
SUP Surf Epic day of action today at the 2014 La Torche Pro France as the Main Event gets underway
SUP Surf - A beautiful day here in Finistere as the Men's Main Event of the 2014 La Torche Pro France got underway in nothing short of epic conditions. A solid, long period swell, light offshore winds and bright blue skies provided the perfect backdrop to a full day of competition that saw us wrap Round 1 and the Repechage of the Main Event, as well as Round 1 of the Na Kama Kai Youth Challenge.
Riviera Paddlesurf 2014 WPA Championships
Riviera Paddlesurf - The 2014 WPA Paddle Championships went off this weekend at St. Pete Beach in Florida. The Riviera Team showed up to support, and race in the 2 day event. Day one of the event Ryan helm took 2nd Place to Danny Ching in the Men's Elite Race putting a Riviera RP-14' on the Podium.

Canoe Kayak - On July 12, Deborah Walters launched her sea kayak into the Atlantic Ocean in Yarmouth, Maine, and she's been paddling ever since. Walters, a 63-year-old grandmother and retired research scientist, is paddling solo down the U.S. Atlantic coast to the southern tip of Florida, where she will sail with a friend to Central America. From there, she'll continue south in her stitch-and-glue plywood kayak to Guatemala.
