SUPracer Brazil From Above: Drone Footage From The Massive 'Aloha Spirit' Paddle Festival
SUPracer - How's this for a race? Check out this drone footage of the mass start at a recent SUP race in Brazil. This is from the 'Aloha Spirit' Paddle Festival, which, as the name suggests, is a combination of all types of paddling but with a pretty strong focus on stand up.
Canoe Kayak Here's an Awesome Kayaking Ad You Didn't See During the Super Bowl
Canoe Kayak - Seeing all the social media hype over the Super Bowl's best and weirdest (looking at you BabyPuppyMonkey) ads, reminded us of this gem of an advertisement that came out of Norway last spring.
Standup Journal Kai Lenny and MO Freitas Sup Absolutely HUGE Peahi Monsters
Standup Journal - This video is epic! Kai Lenny and Mo Freitas standup paddle so huge waves at Jaws.  They make some great ones, but there is some pretty sick carnage in there as well.  I have to hand it to these athletes out there charging…This takes serious practice, skill and balls of steal.

Then I call on you, the reader to submit experiences you've had with lifetime warranties. You can do this either via comment or email, and I'll add your perspective to the article.
Down Hill Kayaking Dominican Republic 2015 - Part II: Rio Blanco
Down Hill Kayaking - In December of 2015 Matthew Beauchamp, Steve Krajewski, Shannon Goshorn, and I headed to the island of Hispaniola to check out the rivers of the Dominican Republic. Although the island was experiencing a pattern of dry weather, we still found options to paddle daily and enjoyed a great time in this lesser known paddling destination. The Rio Blanco flows out of the steep mountains east of the city of Banao, almost in the center of the country. We were presently surprised at how great this section of river turned out to be!
American Rivers Corps Should Abandon New Madrid Floodway Project
American Rivers - The Mississippi River's ability to spread out into its floodplain is important for fish and wildlife and for protecting downstream communities from floodwaters. Unfortunately, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is proposing to cut off the Mississippi River from one of its last floodplain connections by constructing a new levee at the bottom of the New Madrid Floodway.
Brittany Parker A Four Seasons, Whisky Drinking, Dirt Bagging Kind of Girl
Brittany Parker - I've always said home is what you make it. It's not always a specific location, it can be multiple, it can be wherever you are in a single moment. I've spent a week in a new place and by the end of it it felt like home. Living in Costa Rica, a place that is so far from home in distance and environment, helps me understand my sense of the word. Home will always be the mountains.
SUP Examiner Infinity Surfboard Co. – Dana Point, California
SUP Examiner - Infinity boards is located at the heart of the American stand up paddling community in Dana Point, California. Paddlers visiting Infinity Surfboard Co. have several options when it comes to local paddle spots. Flatwater paddling can be found inside Dana Point Harbor from the popular sandy launch spot at Baby Beach or venture "outside" into the scenic beauty of the Pacific Ocean along one of Southern California's most breathtaking stretches of coastline.
CKS Blog 2016 Dagger Axiom 9.0 Review – By Atom Crawford
CKS Blog - Back in the mid-late 90's the Dagger RPM was everywhere. Every river was swarming with them. It was such a fun boat to stern squirt, surf, cartwheel (yup, I learned to cartwheel in a RPM), and run rivers in it as well – fun, fast and responsive.
Kayaking the Mobile - Tensaw River Delta Hobie Pedal Kayaks
Kayaking the Mobile - Tensaw River Delta - Drum adjustment hole Ribs break. Cables break. Hatch seal is poorly designed. Sprockets break on older model drives.
SUP Magazine Downwinding 50+ MPH Winds in Costa Rica
SUP Magazine - Sometimes, you just have to make due with what's available. For Thomas Maximus in Costa Rica, that meant downwinding 50 mph winds on an 11-foot windsurfing board... Luckily, the evening before the strong winds arrived I noticed an old 11-foot windsurfing board just accumulating dust in a storage shed at the hotel. I wasn't sure if it would be stable enough to stand on, but the thought of downwinding in 50 mph winds definitely made it worth investigating.

Brittany Parker Will You Choose Me?
Brittany Parker - When I write, I write from a place of vulnerability. It's a form of release and can sometimes be a way of me working through my shit. Putting it all down in a journal isn't always enough. Publishing it on here, for anyone to read is that extra step I need to take towards loving and accepting who I am. If I'm scared to push the 'Save&Publish' button then I know it's going to be a good one.
