Sickline – Thursday Palm Blogs - Adidas Sickline - Thursday The Adidas Sickline 2016 just began! 175 paddlers from 29 countries came together in the Ötztal valley and and will start fighting for the title of World Champion in extreme wildwater. Feather Fest 2016 Jackson Kayak - Wow! It feels like this year is flying by. We're already in October and I just finished up with one of my favorite year end festivals in California, Feather Fest. It's held on the beautiful North Fork of the Feather River, and is such a special place for me to go because it's where I learned to creek boat. Sickline 2016- Best One Yet Jackson Kayak - North Fork championship is always the hardest whitewater, with a super tough gate setup, that is hard to hit on your race runs. Green race is one of hardest races because you are hauling in a long boat for 5 minutes, and its hard to nail all of the rapids in the one run you get. Sea Kayaking in Arisaig, Scotland Canoe Kayak - Wow, that seal is fat commented a young paddler, as our pod of colorful sea kayaks approached a large group of harbor seals resting on the ledges surrounding Arisaig Harbor on the west coast of Scotland. Sickline 2016 Palm Blogs - The beautiful Ötztal valley in the heart of the Austrian Alps welcomed the World's best kayakers for the 9th running of the adidas Sickline Extreme Kayak World Championship. 175 athletes from twenty-nine countries battled to take the Sickline title. SUP Paddleboarding Fatyak - As it happens, SUP paddleboarding first originated as a method of canoeing where individuals would stand on their canoes and use their paddles to propel themselves forwards. Stop Signs on the Charles Trash Paddler - On Tuesday, work left me near Medfield and the meadows section of the Charles River.  Shortly I'd dropped my boat into the river at Old Bridge Street and headed upriver from there enjoying a beauty of an afternoon and some fine scenery. SIC Team Edit From Pacific Paddle Games 2016 SIC Maui - SIC Team was in Dana Point, CA for the Pacific Paddle Games 2016. Check out the SIC Team Edit from a great weekend at PPG 2016. Paddler Attempting To Cross English Channel Rescued At Sea SUP Connect - For reasons unknown, a German Paddler was attempting to cross the English Channel with the intent of arriving in the United Kingdom when he was spotted by a diving boat about halfway through the channel. The diving boat then reached out to the UK Boarder Force who later arrived and took him aboard their ship.
