Fall bite is on in Northern California. He had never kayaked fished before, Well needless to say we have hooked another angler. It was a test to see how I felt about camping alone and it was not a long paddle in case I wanted to bail. I liked it and made plans for a solo one night trip a bit further afield. Going On A Cold Weather Trip? Pack Emergency Gear Austin Kayak - Everyone's different; some refuse to risk venturing out into sub-zero temperatures while others commit to year-round adventuring. Paddle company NRS reflecting on year gone by… Happy New Year 2017 NRS Duct Tape Diaries - We say it every year, but it's true: 2016 was our best year yet here at NRS. We launched an entire line of purpose-built gear designed just for kayak anglers. In 2016, we celebrated the lives of outdoor industry heroes gone too soon. We found inspiration through the professional and amateur paddlers all around us and shared it with the world. Coasteering - New Years Eve Adventurous Experiences - Keirron, Kim and Fergus are just back from  an invigorating  New Year's Eve Coasteering session around Peel Castle, in interesting conditions, as the sun set over the waves. Opportunities for Stand Up Paddling in Florida Coreban - Florida is a really long State, stretching 500 miles long, and 160 miles wide. it has two bodies of water that it neighbors, the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. North Florida, Central Florida, South Florida and West Florida, and all offer different opportunities and conditions when it comes to SUP and water sports. The SUP times of the a couple in 2016 Coreban - Tarryn and Thomas king took part in a lot of notable SUP competitions last year experiencing lovely surf conditions – they started their SUP competition with The Turtle Bay Pro, then participated in the ISA World Standup Paddleboard Champs and other competitions that included one in China. We heard a lot of exciting action in the SUP competitions of above, we all waiting to have great SUP and paddle experiences the coming year. Happy New Year 2017!! Have fun checking some SUP pics here and reading the SUP exploits of these two. Paddling reflections of 2016 Newfoundland Kayakoholic - The 2016 paddling season is now closed. It has been open for 365 days.  I've had a very good paddling year and have added a new activity to compliment my kayaking life.. If you look at the numbers,this year I only managed 44 days on the ocean totaling 736 kilometres, with another 10 days at St. Philips, the pool, river, and pond.  My numbers are down when compared to previous years.  Last year my butt was in my kayak 61 days, totaling 1018 kilometres.  In 2014 I totaled 921 kilometres over 53 days, and 2013 had me at 1190 kilometres in 69 days.
