Palm Blogs NSR 2011: The best rodeo in the world?
Palm Blogs - We've just got back from the National Student Rodeo – what a weekend it was! Over 800 paddlers from university clubs all over the county travelled to the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham, UK for probably the biggest (and definitely one of the most fun) events on the European boating calendar. The Topo Duo Final... ..
Canoe & Kayak UK The NEW Fluid Big Bang Whitewater Kayak in Production!
Canoe & Kayak UK - Check out the brand new expedition whitewater kayak design from Fluid Kayaks. Fluid Kayaks are very excited about their latest release, the Big Bang. Fluid wanted to create a faster version of their Expedition Solo whitewater kayak with extra packing space for really long trips. they also had some large kayakers asking for a bigger boat that will be more comfortable to them. To top it off, some of their competitive team paddlers asked for a fast kayak for extreme racing. So Fluid decided to create a boat that fills this gap in their line-up, and the Big Bang was born.
Dagger Blogs A Little East Coast Love
Dagger Blogs - Shane Bennedict paddling into the light on the West Prong. With spring starting off well here in the southeast I figured now would be a good time to give you a little bit of East Coast paddling tour.  These are some of my favorite areas to paddle on the East Coast and highlight some ...
Sea-Boo-Photos Sneek......Peek
Sea-Boo-Photos - Really! Who buys a new kayak and doesn't tell anyone? Uh, that was me. In my insane, insecure, infatuated, in love, drive to have the newest, bestest toys I ordered up the new Jackson Rock Star . I didn't tell anyone. Do you realize just how hard that is to do? I almost exploded. I told them any color so I had no idea what it would be. Kind of like having a baby without an ultrasound. It would be a surprise! WhooHoo! Congratulations! It's a green one!
Desperate Measures This Lady has What It Takes for Sure!!!!
Desperate Measures - Hey, my name is Debs and I was lucky enough to be spotted having a bit of a solo play in a duo in the looping hole at NSR this year, which caught the attention of Desperate Measures, and here I am! I am 20 years old, and a 2nd year Geology student at Edinburgh University. I started kayaking last year when I started Uni, and became a little bit obsessed. I got myself a playboat and headed off to Uganda in the summer with some friends to see what the Nile was like, maybe a little rash for a beginner but I wanted to experience it before it got dammed...
Adrian Tregoning Dwars – Park, Hike, Descend, Huck, Climb, Huck, Climb and Climb Again
Adrian Tregoning - Every year I make a pilgrimage to the Dwars River. The bad tempered ugly duckling of the Western Cape of South Africa is very seldom paddled - probably because one drives right past the much better Witte River on the way there. With the Witte's clean water and long, continuous rapids free of strainers it makes one wonder why anyone would go to the Dwars with its well known polluted water, ugly strainers, intimidating top section and water level depending, unpleasant hike out. On this particular day the Witte was too low, and Justin Abrams had flown down from Johannesburg for a few days so we had to go and paddle at least something.
Jackson Kayak New Rockstar Promo Video Released
Jackson Kayak - Live from Uganda, team Jackson has released a new Rockstar promotional video for all to see… check it out: Click here to view the embedded video.
Jackson Kayak Update from the Nile: From Jessie Stone
Jackson Kayak - So the post election time here in Uganda has been really chalked full of kayaking and other fun stuff. We did finally open our new Family Planning Center on February 23rd. It was a really great day and a bit of nail biter because all of sudden the Ugandan government decided on the 22nd of Feb that the 23rd would be a Public Holiday. More. ...
Snap Dragon Emily Jackson
Snap Dragon - I have always been a HUGE Snap Dragon Fan. I have paddled for Snap Dragon since I was 12 and they have been the greatest company to paddle for in the sense of support.
Team Pyranha Pennsylvania's "Powder Hole" First Descent
Team Pyranha - Check out my first descent of "The Powder Hole" on the Wapwallopen Creek in Northeast PA. Here is a link to Jeremy Laucks video on Facebook. I had a solid crew with me on a very cold day. Ive been wanting to run the falls for a long time. Thanks to all that came out and made it as sweet as possible! More rain coming to the area. Getting fired up for Spring! Happy Boating. Also… Check out this video my brother Graham edited from our last week of creeking in PA.
duemstuff Session on The Cher River
duemstuff - As promised here is a back from our trip on waves of Cher River. The years go by, but not alike. Not enough water this year, so we knocked on the  Whitewater Stadium of Tournon Saint Martin. The stadium is modular, we could ride several waves and holes for 5 days. Here, some pictures of Tournon: ... ..
Sea-Boo-Photos Sneek Peek - Jackson Rock Star
Sea-Boo-Photos - Really! Who buys a new kayak and doesn't tell anyone? Uh, that was me.  In my insane, insecure, infatuated, in love, drive to have the newest, bestest toys I ordered up the new Jackson  Rock Star .   I didn't tell anyone. Do you realize just how hard that is to do?
Ross Herr Southeast Love
Ross Herr - I can't believe my last spring break has already come and gone. Everyone says it, but 4 years really does fly by before you know it. For our last spring break Brianne and I decided to road trip down to the Southeast.
Whitewater-Koa Buller Fest 2011
Whitewater-Koa - Alright so it has come and gone again for another year and I must say that it was amazing once again! This was my 9th Buller River Festival but this one was different! Unfortunately this year was my first year not racing due to recent shoulder surgery but I still made the trip and it was so worth while!!! .
Paddling Instructor Blog Canadian Sea Kayak Photo of the Moment [MEC Paddlefest Edition]
Paddling Instructor Blog - Jealous that I can't make my way to Canoecopia this weekend, I decided to troll through my friend Birgit's Facebook gallery of photos from the Toronto edition of MEC's Paddlefest last year. As you can see it's really more about having fun then anything else. The dates for the 2011 Paddlefest were just announced and this year it is taking place June 11-12 at Sunnyside Beach right in the heart of Toronto. Fun fact: Did you know that MEC Paddlefest Toronto gets more people on the water then any other event in North America? Yep, it's true. When clinics are about to start it seems like there are 10,000 people running around the beach all trying to find their canoe or kayak...
