News Watch Sad News - RIP Mark Neville SUP UK (Sunday 27th) *** - Police have confirmed that the body found at a Newquay beach last week was that of missing local man Mark Neville. The Freeride: A new playboat by Liquidlogic Team LiquidLogic (Monday 28th) *** - The Liquidlogic Freeride 57 spins into the final cycle of the design process this week.  What's been fun with this one is that it was a boat that we had started designing a while ago and then you all requested it from us through feedback on our facebook page.   Zie Siphon Evan Garcia (Saturday 26th) *** - ...here is a taste of the good life here in Pucon in December... Ushering in a New Era in Freestyle Jackson Kayak (Saturday 26th) ** - Composite is no doubt the biggest design leap since planing hulls made their debut over a decade ago... In Review: The Project X 48 Wavesport Blogs (Sunday 27th) ** - I have been paddling a Wave Sport Project 45 since 2007, and never thought I would make the switch to any other boat; I love my Project 45! However, from the first time I took a seat in my Project X, I now have a new favorite playboat. Let me tell you why… Big tree paddling in the redwoods Funhog Blob (Wednesday 2nd) ** - We stepped off the trail into a wall of shoulder-high sword fern, letting the rainforest swallow us. A vague path, barely discernable, lead deeper into the copse. Feeling our way over a rotten log, the route opened at the edge of a swamp. Soaring redwoods were all around. "This is it," I thought to myself as Lisa clawed her way ahead. Moments later, there it was, the tree, the great tree. Brilliant Whitewater Kayaking Video - The Routine Canoe & Kayak UK (Saturday 26th) ** - We see a lot of films and video clips in the Canoe & Kayak UK offices but evewry now and then something special comes a long. The Routine, by Seán Mc Ternan, is just such a gem, and is an entry in the 2011 Rider of the Year Awards. Just watching it made us want to get those summer trips planned real soon. Patagonia- First Descents Kokatat Blog (Tuesday 1st) ** - Kokatat Ambassador Jakub Sedivy spends and amazing winter running First Descents in Patagonia. "While most of the population was still recovering from the New Years hangover, I was on a plane on my way back to Chile. I was so impressed by this country last year that I just had to go again. I landed in Santiago on the very start of January and took a direct Semicama bus to Pucon to catch up with friends and get organized. My plan this year was to catch up with a Swiss crew and Mariann Saether down south, deep in Patagonia, to look for some possible first descents and runnable drops. Live Better Stories: Galicia Update... Teva Blog (Wednesday 2nd) ** - After a very cold winter in the UK we headed out to mainland Europe, our first stop was Lacanau on the west coast of France for a surf session to break up the drive south. The waves were big but the sets a little too close, good to get out in the boat and break up the journey thoug... Live Better Stories: Helikayaking Teva Blog (Wednesday 2nd) ** -  New Zealand - Heliboating. One of mine favourite place on the Earth is New Zealand for sure. It`s so easy to hang out down there, good people, beautiful scenery, awesome rivers and heliboaiting on the West coast. Here is few pictures from mine mission from January ... Write-Up: Rattlesnake Creek A Wet State (CA) (Wednesday 2nd) ** - To sum up the Lower Eel drainage... scenic with fun, but manky drops. We're pretty excited about this one! = Nile River- Irish Wake for Day 1- Silverback section Jackson Kayak (Tuesday 1st) * - Africa Update: Yesterday was a sad day in the whitewater world. The Day 1 Section (Silverback) of the Nile was closed to river traffic through the main rapid of Silverback. The hydro project that claimed my favorite wave on the river (Ugly Sisters) already, has now claimed Silverback rapid and soon the river upstream will begin to flood out.
