News Watch The Stern Stall Wavesport Blogs (Wednesday 30th) *** - The Stern Stall is a move where the paddler balances their kayak vertically on its stern end. Most paddlers find this move more difficult to learn than the bow stall but the concept is the same. How Kirk Victor and his Werner Sherpa survived Werner (Sunday 27th) *** - Thanks to Werner customer Kirk Victor for sharing this amazing story, we are so happy to hear you are okay and wish you a quick recovery.  Stories like this really give our design and production people, handcrafting all our paddles in Sultan, Wa, a real pat on the back. Still waiting Dagger Blogs (Tuesday 29th) ** - When I decided that I wanted to attempt to surf the biggest wave ever surfed in a kayak I had no idea I would spend so much time waiting.  The first year I spent a lot of time training and working with Randy Phillips to design a surf kayak for this project.  Teacups Trip WRSI (Sunday 27th) ** - Well we recently went to the 7 teacups on Rio Claro and also the Viente y Dos. Here are some pictures from the trip and also the video from the trip as well. It was awesome being there and we have Nuble Fest this weekend. After that we are headed back to the Claro for some ... Chasing Rainbows Team Pyranha (Sunday 27th) ** - Rivers come and rivers go, one eddy flows to the next wave – we make our choices and move on. Never stopping, restless and awaiting. It is the drive to go with the river that takes us to its heart – moving us onwards to its end. Dirty and dusty after over night bus rides, sand in our eyes and hair from our beach beds. Some Idaho classics Jackson Kayak (Saturday 26th) ** - Hello folks, just wanted to check in and let everyone in on some classic Idaho runs that are well worth doing. This was an amazing year all over the country, but I decided to stay around home and paddle Idaho this year. It was the first time in a long time I blew off California all together. As a reward, I was able to hit some really good Idaho classics and some soon to be classics. Summer is coming Mike Dawson (Wednesday 30th) ** - Si Davidsons memorial paddle - the whole Okere Falls crew out.The 2011/2012 summer is coming. With December quickly approaching the Okere Falls community is getting into the summer games! The river toys are coming out - and this year it looks like S.U.P boards are going to be the new thing. Tis the Season The Next Horizon Line (Wednesday 30th) ** - Creeking season has arrived in the Southeast. Many years, there's a lull between the warm predictability of damn release season and the frenetic variety of creeking season. Fortunately this year they overlapped with the first good fall rain arriving before the final Tallulah release weekend. The Nantahala Wave is ON! worldkayak (Wednesday 30th) * - Daniel Dutton surfing the new wave. The Nantahala wave in Wesser, NC "came on" today and boaters came out to test out the new feature, braving freezing cold temperatures to get a surf in.The water release was combined with natural flow from the recent rains, resulting in a feature that is "beefy" and very retentive. Playboaters will like the recovery pool the feature now has. Back to Colombia Fluid Blog (Friday 25th) * - The Rio Chicamocha at sunrise, Santander, Colombia. So after about ten hellish months in the states I just arrived in Colombia where I now have two Fluid Solo Expeditions and a return flight in April. The Colombian legend Kees Van Kuipers along with some of the rest of the Colombia Whitewater. South East Tour Chris Baer (Sunday 27th) * - A couple of rafters approaching the Thing Back in the south east, there is only one thing to do, well there is a couple things to do. Mainly hope for rain and when that doesn't happen enjoy the garrenties, the Green Race and Tallulah release. My head was still spinning from three days... Aniol's Mexico Update Astral Currently (Saturday 26th) * - So I finally made it to my favourite place of the earth for stout creeking, cheap beers, amazing food,  welcoming people…. MEXICO!!I am here together the Sauvage crew, consisting on Tino Specht from America, Lachie Carracher from Australia, the peruans daniel and Juanito, Mathias Fossum and the frenchie Jules dominic we are having a blast of a time, paddling everyday amazing waterfalls, sections and enjoying the pleasure of be travelling with a group of good friends just doing what we like ... Below and Beyond Mount Kenya Team Pyranha (Wednesday 30th) * - Following on from the successful 2009 Below and Beyond Machu Picchu Expedition (http://belowandbeyondmachupicchu09.wordpress.com/) to Peru, the team were looking for another destination that would offer excellent whitewater, adventure and a break from the British weather. After some research we had a destination that fitted all of our criteria – Kenya. SUP Women: Suzie Cooney by Shari Coble for SUP Magazine SUP Fitness (Wednesday 30th) * - SUP Women: Suzie Cooney; One of the beautiful aspects of standup is it's appeal to women. In this fine game we "play," ladies play a key role in the sport's development. Now and into the future. This fall and winter, SUP magazine is catching up ... Cali does not stop in the fall! Jackson Kayak (Saturday 26th) * - Once again Daniel from "A Wet State" is checking in with another fall Cali update. Enjoy! California Never Ceases to Amaze. In normal years, the period between the North and South Feather River releases and the beginning of our rainy season creates a 2 month void of class IV to V boating in the state.
