Bootfahrer Video : one more time - CANADA!
Bootfahrer (Thursday 24th) **** - I finally got all this summer's footage together in an edit! Put some work in this one and am pretty stoked about it! I hope you enjoy it. The first part is a bit of a mellow creeking one around Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, and area that not a lot of paddlers get to see with water in the rivers.
Creek WV Middle Cherry
Creek WV (Saturday 19th) *** - June 20, 2009. I am sitting in my boat, alone in an eddy. Cliffs on both sides, and a 40' waterfall roars below. Double the expected flows are pouring over an unexpected drop. Everybody else ran it and was fine. I've never run a drop this big. The portage has poison oak and wet cliffs.
Dagger Blogs Green Boat Groover
Dagger Blogs (Monday 21st) *** - Your first time floating through the Grand Canyon can never be beat. Until, perhaps, you go again, shedding the comfort and ease of rafts and stuffing your home for 13 days into a kayak. The first question I get asked...how do you fit a groover in a kayak?

New River Academy Nevados!
New River Academy (Friday 25th) * - The Nevados is one of the best runs in Pucon. It has made it in to many videos, not just because of the amazing white water but because of the beauty of the gorged in creek. The steep gorge walls are covered with moss, vines and other plants. The green of the plants is exaggerated by the grey stone walls.
cognite.net Olympic Whitewater Course
cognite.net (Thursday 17th) * - Something strange happened a few weeks ago: I got back in a playboat in a concrete river and had fun. I'm classing it as training for the 'proper' (river) paddling I'm hoping to do this season, but secretly: a part of me enjoyed waiting in a queue of boats in order to get on to a wave or into a hole to get thrown around by the force of the water, trying to convince it that I was worthy of an 'established' front surf or split wheel.
