Wavesport Blogs (Wednesday 8th) *** - Foam is the most useful item you can have for outfitting a kayak. With enough foam you can outfit a boat so that it fits you perfectly. Having a correctly fitted kayak will enable you to have more control and connection with the boat, and will make it much more enjoyable to paddle.

Fire It Up (Sunday 5th) ** - Wavesport have been pretty busy designing some new plastic shapes. The Recon is the new creek boat which we're keen to get our hands on.

Dustin Urban (Saturday 4th) ** - The summer Outdoor Retailer Show has arrived again. It's the biggest party in paddle sports with no river in sight.OR is all about the hype, with every manufacturer in the sport playing the game as best they can.

Rapid Magazine Blog (Monday 6th) ** - Among the new boats to look forward to, Nick Trout man launched the 2013 All Star series at Rapid Media's Paddle Zone.The boat that freestyles loved for its user-friendliness is back and better than ever.
Palm Blogs London 2012 Olympics – Freestyle Demonstration!
Palm Blogs (Saturday 4th) * - During the London 2012 Olympics it's not just been Slalom going on at the Lee Valley Whitewater centre… Myself, Claire O'hara, Uganda's Juma Kalikwani, Japan's Motoko Ishida, New Zealand's Courtney Kerin, and USA's Dane Jackson have all been part of  team putting on freestyle kayaking displays between the slalom races.

PeakUK (Tuesday 7th) * - Freestyle kayaking has made its debut at the Olympics. On July 29th 2012 a team of six of the worlds top freestyle athletes showcased their sport for the first time ever at an Olympic games.

Desperate Measures (Thursday 9th) * - Modern day Chinese river exploration began with Yao Maoshu in 1985, when, upon learning that Americans were throwing ludicrous amounts of money at the Chinese Sports Bureau for a permit to raft the Yangtze, he decided that the first descent of China's mother river should be a wholly Chinese accomplishment.

Desperate Measures (Thursday 9th) * - In Early June myself. David Bain, Tom Wakling and Jenny Chrimes headed south to Italy to compete in the Teva outdoor games in Ivrea. We headed out a week early so we could get a few runs in on the race course and experience what the area had to offer.
