News Watch 2013 Wave Sport Recon Review CKS Blog - Following trends in creek boat technology over the past 2 or 3 years have been super interesting. Increasing volume and stability, while keeping the overall length around 8′ or 9′, yet with enough effective edge in the water to generate decent hull speed, seems to be the name of the game. 2012 Green Race Go Left and Die Pin worldkayak blogs - This year for the Green Race I volunteered to assemble a safety crew at "Go Left & Die". Tommy Clapp, Steve Moore, Jeremy Gass, Chris Clark, Andy Woods and I came together to become the F.T.S.U. Go Left safety crew! A Sick Wave in My Backyard Michele Ramazza - It doesn't happen very often, but when the flow is good for this wave the fun is guaranteed. The wave is easy, forgiving and fast, with a good green left shoulder. Tricks like aerial blunt, aerial screw, helix, pan-am and Mc Nasty are possible in this wave. The New Epic V8 Mark Sundin - True to form, Epic have sprung a surprise on us all with the redevelopment of their game-changing V8 surf ski. Going to The Grand Prix in Chile Go Boating AU - Those of you who know me personally, know how much an invitation into the top 25 selected for an event like the Whitewater Grand Prix this year in Chile means to me. Wave Sport Recon Dustin Urban - The WaveSport Recon is a new displacement hull creek boat coming in three sizes. With lots of input from creek master Bryan Kirk and other WaveSport team members, Who Needs An Ocean or a River to Get Your Surfing Fix worldkayak - While the number of flowing rivers in Wisconsin are minimal compared to most regions of the US. We have many "hidden gems" to help us get our fix for the year. How Young Is Too Young for Kayaking Class 5 Chris Baer - For the last few years I have been "organizing" a race on the Pine Creek section of the Arkansas river. My goal with the race is to have as much fun as possible and create an amazing spectator event. Pyranha Nano unsponsored - I'm really liking the look of the new Pyranha Nano. The Nano apparently takes elements of the Jed, Shiva and Burn. There is definitely a look of the Micro Bat in there as well. I owned a Micro Bat (Micro 230) for years and always enjoyed the way it paddled.
