Jackson Kayak First days in my new Karma
Jackson Kayak - My brand new medium Karma came to me all the way across the country early last week in Marty's trailer.  I've been excited to play with this new toy ever since I paddled the prototype in Montana, and shot the product photos a few weeks ago.
Nathan Pfeifer Bliss-Stick Tuna
Nathan Pfeifer - So now that the honeymoon phase is over and I've really had a chance to get to know the Bliss-Stick Tuna, I wanted to do a follow-up review of how I think the boat performs.
Jackson Kayak Top 10 California Speed Descents
Jackson Kayak - Since Lars and Chuck started making speed descents in the Sierra Nevada of California in the 80′s, they have been one of the most controversial and exciting topics in the sport. Here is my attempt at the top ten California speed descents with associated top times.
Jackson Kayak The Ottawa in The New Star
Jackson Kayak - I have been on an extended fall kayaking road trip around the southeast, and even though the Moose River is all the way in up-state New York, I figured I should go to Moosefest while I'm on the east coast.
Evan Garcia Viva La Agua Blanca!
Evan Garcia - Erik Johnson setting down the landing gear on Cascada Tomata. We had some fun on Tomata this season. Get ready for some serious Mexico Updates! Just got back from 3.5 weeks in Vera Cruz, Mexico with hard-drives full of epic-ness.
Just Liquid Elk River Is Pumping
Just Liquid - The upper-middle Elk is roaring. not for the faint of heart. A crew of us will be running it this coming Sunday (Nov 4th) so call or message Rob@justliquid.ca if your keen to join us.
Seth Ashworth FutaleFail and Rio Claro Winning
Seth Ashworth - So a plan was afoot to head down to the Rio Futalefeu in the south of Chile. We had done some research and it seemed there are two main ways to get there.
Am. Whitewater The White Salmon Is Officially Open
Am. Whitewater - More than two decades after we first investigated the recreational potential of a restored White Salmon River, and a year after a blast of dynamite punched a hole in the base of Condit Dam, the river is now navigable from the headwaters all the way down to the Columbia River!
SUP Connect Sup Woman of The Year Final Begins
SUP Connect - The first phase of the 2012 SUP Woman of the Year Awards was a success thanks·to all of you who took the time to support and vote for them.
Mt. Hood H2O The Rock Is Dead
Mt. Hood H2O - This run has a rave review on Oregonkayaking and I had heard promising things from others who had tried to run the creek. We had some water this weekend and decided to finally see "The Rock" for ourselves.
Playak Dawson Takes Home Green Race Crown
Playak - Shaving 8 seconds off the course record, Kiwi kayaking kingpin Mike Dawson won both the long and short boat division of this year's 17th annual Green Race on North Carolina's Green River, earning year-long bragging rights as well as...the coveted stained glass trophy.
Jackson Kayak Back from the Arctic- Rifles, Crampons and Kayaks
Jackson Kayak - There is something very strange about grabbing crampons and a rifle with your paddle as you prepare for paddling, then walk to the deck of a sailboat, but this was how our day began. Ben Stookesberry, Pedro Oliva, and I were ascending onto the Braswell Glacier in the Svalbard Archipelago to find a stream large enough to paddle off, ...
unsponsored Dry Cags – Are they really dry?
unsponsored - I have owned numerous cags, semi-dry cags, dry cags and dry suits over the years. Neoprene seals, latex seals – all have been tried and tested for years and in reality none have ever been 100% dry.
Jackson Kayak Traveling with a Creek Boat for Dummies
Jackson Kayak - I am extremely impulsive and not very good at planning ahead. As soon as I got enough money I bought a ticket to Mexico. I had no idea if anyone was going, where to go in Mexico, and how to get there.
unsponsored Wavesport Recon
unsponsored - I had the pleasure of being the first person (probably) in the UK to paddle the new Wavesport Recon. I had seen the boat a couple of weeks ago and had arrange to hook up with Tom at the Tees Barrage for an evening paddle.
