Battle of The Paddle Favourite Travis Grant Goes Down with Knee Injury Two Weeks Out SUPracer - Most serious race fans can probably agree that one of the top picks ahead of this year's Battle of the Paddle is Travis Grant. The Aussie has been on an absolute tear the past nine months, winning several hotly-contested races back home before posting some big results in Hawaii, culminating in his epic Molokai-2-Oahu victory six weeks ago. I did it! Double World Champion again... PeakUK - I have just doubled the double and it feels unreal. This weekend I competed in the ICF World Freestyle Kayaking Championships at the NOC in the USA and defended my two World Champion titles. In the Squirt Boating I had some of my best performances in competition by far ... Late summer downwind…with SUPStore SUPboarder - Fun session from Sandbanks to Boscombe with Andy Joyce. A nice westerly wind which is ideal for this route. Was quite choppy due to the small swell lines which came in from the south but this was great practise for manoeuvring the board to stay on the bumps. As we came into Boscombe there was a small breaking wind swell which was fun to play on, especially on a 16 foote Mountain Bike Tours Chiang Mai Thailand Nature, Kayak and Travel - So it has been awhile since I have been updating my Blog. With Facebook, Google+ and whatever else there is out there I try and maintain for my business Discovery Sea Kayaks, it is hard to do much more. Open Canoe Festival 2013 Level 6 - Beginning of April and for the 4th year in a row took place the Open Canoe Festival gethering together 500 canoe and outdoor lovers on the river banks of the Drôme Valley in Mirabel-et-Blacons. A Record Thursday Evening Turnout Tony Paradise - We've been averaging 6 - 8 paddlers all summer for Thursday evening practices at St. Philips. Sometimes we get 10. This evening we had 15. It was an excellent turnout. Sunny SUP Hawaii SUPboarder - We all know that Hawaii is a sunshine surf mecca. If not get the very basics sorted. It's going to be a miserable trip if you get really cold. Make sure you have a dry set of kit to get changed into at the end of the trip, something nice and warm is always a great idea and include a hat.
