The Final Weekend of The Ultimate Waterman SUP Examiner - Four of the eight Ultimate Waterman disciplines have been contested with only three to go. The Big Wave discipline is not able to be contested due to the lack of suitable conditions. Zane Schweitzer Crowned Ultimate Waterman in New Zealand SUPracer - Zane Schweitzer has taken out the Ultimate Waterman event in New Zealand, triumphing over Danny Ching, Connor Baxter and a handful of other elite ocean athletes in this multi-sport, invite-only specialty event. Finding Redemption through "Chaos" Five 2 Nine Productions - Made In Canada took that one step further with storytelling, but with Chaos Theory I wanted to throw that all out completely and take it to a whole other approach. BOTB 2016 Kayaking the Mobile - Tensaw River Delta - Despite a week of dismal rainy weather forecasts, just prior to the race the skies turned blue. Temperature was a comfortable 70 degrees. Winds were light. The poor weather forecasts no doubt kept race registration low. Only about 150-160 people registered for the BOTB. There is a ton of new gear to use, a bunch of weird language getting thrown around and heaps of hard to learn safety skills. One of the worst parts however is not knowing which rivers are safe for beginners and what levels you can and should paddle them.
