Bending Branches Basic Checklist for Kayak Fishing
Bending Branches - It's very common for someone to strike up a conversation with me when they see the kayak in my truck or even on the water...they are highly curious about kayak fishing and often say they've been thinking about giving it a try. Sometimes it is a long-time angler who wants a new challenge away from the bass boat and sometimes it is an individual new to fishing who is looking for affordable access to good water. Always great to meet and talk to people who are interested in the sport and one of the most common questions is, "What do I need to get started?"

SherriKayaks Choosing a Kayak Paddle
SherriKayaks - Your paddle is arguably the most important piece of gear when it comes to the performance of your kayak, your endurance, your speed, and the enjoyment that you get out of paddling. If you think of your body as the engine for your kayak, then the paddle is the propeller blade. Serious power boaters can tell you how important it is to have the right "prop" on your engine. With that in mind, let's cover some basics.

Five 2 Nine Productions Finding Redemption through "Chaos"
Five 2 Nine Productions - Made In Canada took that one step further with storytelling, but with Chaos Theory I wanted to throw that all out completely and take it to a whole other approach. Huck & Dyno Whitewater Kayaking Progression: Getting Started in Sydney
Huck & Dyno - Whitewater kayaking is one of the trickier sports to get into in Australia. There is a ton of new gear to use, a bunch of weird language getting thrown around and heaps of hard to learn safety skills. One of the worst parts however is not knowing which rivers are safe for beginners and what levels you can and should paddle them. The list below is what rivers I like to take beginners on and some notes on each trip.
