News Watch Headlines Vancouver Is. Youth Expedition - Kayak Adventurous Experiences - The team are presently in Vancouver Island, enjoying a day off the water, after ten days of paddling. Sea Kayaking from Port Hardy, round the formidable Cape Scott, up the river at San Josef Bay as the gales kicked in. 2016 Maui 2 Molokai Highlights SUP Magazine - This past weekend, paddlers from around the world came together for the epic Maui 2 Molokai downwind race. Known as one of the world's best downwind courses, the 27-mile race took racers across the Pailolo Channel and into the Kalohi Channel, tracking Molokai's south shore. Maui's Connor Baxter claimed the top spot with a time just under three hours, closely followed by Australian Travis Grant. Hawaii Kai Downwinder on Tempest OC2 Canoe standuppaddlesurf.net - My brother Darin and I recently went on a Hawaii Kai downwind run in Oahu to test out my new Ozone Tempest OC2 two-man canoe in open ocean conditions. The Tempest OC2 is fast and it glides really well. We caught some really nice bumps, I think some of the longest bumps we've ever caught. We pretty much had the lake to ourselves lots of chillaxin' and, our campsite had a million dollar view with water access the Labs really loved it. Connor Baxter Wins 7th Straight Victory At 2016 Maui 2 Molokai SUP Connect - Connor Baxter just won his 7th straight victory at the 2016 Maui-2-Molokai race over the weekend making history as he extends the longest winning streak in the men's sport. Not only has Connor never lost this race, but nobody else has ever won it. Connor took out the inaugural event as a scrawny teenager at 15-years-old back in 2010, and he has triumphed every year since. Hear all about the win from Connor himself below. We start in Kansas City and, as the name suggests, paddle 340 miles (547kms) to the town of St. Charles, which is just outside St Louis.
