Paull fit and firing for Paralympic quest ICF - Para-paddler Graham Paull will make his Paralympic Games debut on Wednesday. He had made two ICF Para-Canoeing World Championships appearances and an A Final men's KL1 200m event at the 2015 World Champs. At the A Final event, he came 5th place and he was less than a second slower than the top 3 there, so he is going to put a strong performance at the Paralympic Games. Let's watch out for him!! Yosemite National Park Grows by 400 Acres American Rivers - On Wednesday, in it's largest expansion since 1949, Yosemite National Park grew to include 400 acres of lush meadow. Ackerson Meadow, along the park's western boundary, was part of John Muir's original plan for Yosemite. River Run Park has opened along the South Platte River in Englewood Hala - Surfs Up on the South Platte Surf is in at the new River Run Park in Englewood, Colorado. The new park, part of a twenty-five million dollar plan to revitalize and reconfigure several drops on the South Platte in the southern Denver metro area is open.  The World Rushed In The American River - When referring to the Gold Rush in Coloma the phrase often used is the world rushed in  Well, if you want to see this in person this is the weekend to visit Coloma. Morgan Hoesterey's Journey to the M2O SUP Magazine - I had completely written off the Molokai 2 Oahu race this year. Up until about three weeks before the event, I had made peace with the fact that my time spent in 2016 was less training and ocean playtime and more just trying to figure out how to handle life a little bit better. First time for USA Master's Men International Rafting Federation - The Masters division at the 2016 WRC R4 in the UAE will be the biggest yet, with 11 men's teams and 8 women's teams. I've always seen the Master's category as the one to enjoy, but these men are taking it very seriously. Summer Surprise Jackson Kayak - Just when I thought the summer blues were here for a while, rainstorms swept overhead producing heavy rains. I watched the Cedar River swell to spring time flows in what is usually the hottest, driest time in Iowa. Exciting to watch the gauge rise and I'm grateful to be able to enjoy the high flows with such warm, beautiful weather too. Death and love and the river running through Girls at Play - It's my first day of my senior year of college, and I should be flying out of bed and bustling about and getting myself organized. Instead, I feel the need to be quiet for a bit.
