Chris Baer White water kayak experience in Nepal - Upper Marsyangdi
Chris Baer - The tallest mountains in the world surround us. Their brilliant, snow-encrusted peaks seem almost dull in comparison to the vibrant prayer flags and audaciously painted structures here in the quintessential Himalayan mountain town of Jagat. From this microscopic Nepali village, Garen Stephens and myself would start yet another trip of a lifetime. The plan was simple; kayak from just north of Jagat nineteen miles down to the slack water of the Mid-Marsyangdi hydro-dam, located just to the south of the town of Besisahar.
Bellyak Bellyaking Class 5 Upper Gauley – The Maiden Voyage
Bellyak - The Upper Gauley River, in West 'by god' Virginia, has long been the bedrock class V run of every aspiring kayaker. It's a big, powerful river with multiple places that can kill you dead if you get off line. This run had been causing me anxiety since I first decided to run it in a bellyak in 2012, but didn't actually run it til 2016. I was paddling a boat that I was only attached to by gravity, with nothing but my hands to propel me.

Jackson Kayak - Kayak fishing has always been a place I can escape too to avoid the every day stresses of life. The second I pick up that rod and launch my kayak into the water, I leave all my worries on the bank. Kayak fishing is a sport that cannot be replicated, the feeling you get on the water is beyond comparison, its just you and nature.
