Team Swain SE Boating: The Pilgrimage to Corsica Waking up in the sunshine by the beach was great, and while part of me could have stayed there for days, it was time to get back on the water for another day of boating.

CKS Squad: Bring on the spring Every year in the Southern Rockies there is a week of fear. It weaves through the community like a storm of buzzing bees and hissing like the ghost of a rattler.

OKS Keener: Keeners dominate the Level 6 Capital Cup This popular Ottawa event draws a local crowd but the addition of New River Academy added international flair and raised the paddling bar. With Keeners making up a big part of NRA's enrollment, the Capital Cup was a showcase of Keener kayaking.

Fluid Blog: King Edward expedition The King Edward expedition has returned and was a dream trip. Good friends, quality white water, raft support, play boats and extreme wilderness all contributed to a very successful 31 days (10 transit and 21 on the river).

Adventures of Burgess: The Stewart River: Low water This time I had some apprehension about the pillow drop due to the lack of water many more rocks were plainly visible and uncovered. I plunged down the pillow drop with only a minor hit to a rock near my feet.

Savannah Canoe and Kayak: Cocoa Beach Waveski Comp - Report The wave ski crowd are a cool bunch of dedicated dudes from all over Florida mostly, many are stand up surfers.

Jackson Kayak: T'Ville Triple Crown Competition: Huge hit The concept was simple- There were three competitions and your results in each event is added together for a final placing. The winner of each event got 30 points, second got 28, third got 27, and then each placing got 30 points minus your finish place.

Palm Blogs: Youth Freestyle - Llangollen Palm/Dagger Europe are once again involved in sponsoring the Youth Freestyle series for 2009. The first event at Llangollen took place under bright sunshine and blue skies, unfortunately this also meant extremely low water levels with very few places to get any verticality for the freestyle competition.

KayakQuixotica: P&H Bahiya My quick view is that the Bahiya would be a great boat for someone who wanted a boat that was still a rocket when fully loaded.

Jackson Kayak: Clay visits NOC Demo Days It was great to now have the perfect boat choice for those little ladies and younger guys looking for a river-runner who just don't fit well in any other boat.

Paddling Instructor Blog: Sea Kayaker magazine turns 25 A big shout-out goes out to Sea Kayaker magazine who turns 25 with their May issue.

René Seindal: St. Mark's paddle This is the abandoned island of Madonna del Monte. It use to be a monastery, but it was abandoned in the late 18th century, maybe as a consequence of Napoleons conquest of the Republic of Venice.

Raoul Collenteur: Worlds 09 selections in Rheinfelden Back from a sick trip to Corsica and ending with the Dutch Team Trials for the worlds 2009  on the border of Germany and Switzerland. The wave was created due to construction work at the other side of the river and is a small green extremely technical wave.

Jackson Kayak: South Branch Feather: How a Hobbit Falls 50 feet The run begins with about 3 miles of warm-up class 3/4 boulder rapids that become increasingly steep and fun until the final 1 1/2 miles drop off the face of the earth (the last 1/2 mile drops something like 600 feet) in a bedrock heaven.

Team Pyranha: Fusion update I recently had the opportunity to get in the fusion. Testing it out on the Columbia River, with The Columbia Experience, we paddled 15 miles on the 270,000 cfs, floating past Nuke Plants and waterfalls.

Total WW Fun: It's not your old Reflex, it's the new SL350 from Dragorossi Contemporary lines, modern 3.5 meter boat, sized for average sized slalom athletes with a nice rotomolded, adjustable seat (mincel pillar continues under the seat), ratchetting backband, and "yakima" style footpegs.

Level 6 Blog: Spring in the UK - Emily Wall Spring had finally sprung here in the UK and there's been lots going on. At the end of March the annual National Student Rodeo took place along side a new show, Paddlefest. Held at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham, the two events had had to be combined, as the winter's refurbishment to the slalom course had not been completed in time for the NSR planned for three weeks earlier.

Kayak Session: Tyler Bradt Interview In March, Brazilian Pedro Oliveira ran a 127-foot falls in Brazil breaking Tyler Bradt's former 107-foot record (Alexandra falls, BC Canada). There was huge media coverage worldwide about Olivia's record. While most people imagined this record would stay for a very long time, Tyler Bradt just ran the 186 ft (nearly 60-meter) Palouse Falls in Washington State, smashing Olivia's record by 59 ft!

Double You Ess: First Test: Diesel 80 on Miracle Mile With the recent arrival of the new Diesel 80 to our front door, I was psyched to get on the water and try it out. To be honest, at 5'6 an 125 lbs, I was a little hesitant about jumping in the boat, as it is a good bit larger than my Habitat 80.

Jackson Kayak: Crew in Canada putting the Dynamic Duos to good use! These boats are awesome. The first thing that everyone notices is the fit. Big or small you can get a god fit from the outfitting. Lots of comments about the comfort too. Simon, a paddler from Ottawa, called it a Cadillac.

Valentin Grollemund: Teva Extrem Outdoor Games - Italy On June 10th to 14th 2009 will take place the now famous TEVA Extreme Outdoor Games that bring together some of the world's best riders of downhill mountain biking, climbing, running and kayaking.

Mike Dawson: Seond Day: Racing in Slovakia The second day of racing in Bratislava was better than the first for me. .The course was a bit more techniqual.

WWTCC: Loving the summer Chertsey still seams to be a bit high at the moment but I'm sure over the next few days the water will clear and drop a little making the perfect level for squirting.

Jackson Kayak: Dynamic Duo's first Chili Bar kids run We had a blast! It was super stable and maneuverable and sliced through the holes like butter.

Sea-Boo-Photos: Creeking day with Lester We had decided to start with the French River and then look at the Lester. It was just a beautiful North Shore kind of day.

Lowri Davies: NSR & Paddlefest Due to the reconstruction work at Holme Pierrepont, the National Student Rodeo was postponed until the end of March this year, putting it on the same weekend as Paddlefest.

ourstreams: Ourstreams Streaming Cinema on May 2009 On Saturday May 25, we'll be premiering the films at Chetty's Pub at Class VI River Runners in Fayetteville, WV beginning at 8:00.

OR Rafting Team: Upper Klamath Festival 09 All classes started simultaneously in a head to head mass start just a few hundred meters above Class IV+ Caldera Rapid.
