Wavesport Blogs: New River Surpise Wave Session in the Carbon Project 54cx All that rain last weekend made for a few days of incredible paddling in West Virginia. I drove down from Pennsylvania for a weekend of paddling with Fayetteville local Bryan Kirk.

Evan Garcia: Demshitz Drop... My line went well. I stayed very loose going down the falls because I knew that there was gonna be a hit on rock at some point. With a small bounce I faded a left stroke and tucked up for a nice impact at the base. Felt good to be back in the zone and hitting my line on such a tough drop.

Tribe News: '09 Stakeout Part 5 - Warm water Bussy After exhausting the water in NE Quebec, and with word that minbus was almost in, we rallied back through the night to the Ottawa Valley. Here are some new angles on this classic wave.

Adrian Tregoning: Fluid Kayaks – New Whitewater and Recreational Boats! Fluids 'freestyle surf kayak' is now available in a composite. It is also now made in a large size as well – composite only, not plastic. This is for the bigger beasts out there, but it is also longer, so more speed. The width is the same as the medium though so medium sized paddlers can still style in the large if they're looking for more speed.

Fluid Kayaks: Fluid at Kanumesse 2009 The Buddy has a more defined tri-hull than the Chumani and Synergy, which share the same hull concept. The tri-hull is achieved by a soft keel complemented by curved rails on either side. This combination makes the boat track quite well on flat water for such a short sit-on-top, but at the same time, it enables the boat to play and carve on ocean waves.

Mt. Hood H2O: Mesa Falls (raft) Dan's percentage of waterfalls cleaned to waterfalls not cleaned is baffling. He has a one hundred percent success rate on drops 30 ft or more.

Chris Eastabrook: It's Hard being Georgian. Part 2 We came over the mountain pass into the valley, so when the river looked deep enough to paddle we jumped on. It was all straight forward continuous rapids with a few harder sections every so often. We paddled late into the evening and watched the sunset behind the huge mountains.

Canadian Ckayaker: Rocker On! This Maelström 'Vaag' is a play boat. It is designed with lots of rocker to enable it to turn quickly in tight quarters and it does, thanks to the rocker.

PeakUK: European Canoe Polo Champs In the Men's category five members of Viking were part of the eight man GB men's squad. The men's team lost narrowly in golden goal extra time to Italy (the eventual winners) in the semi final. They went on to an impressive display against the Dutch winning 8-4 to claim the Bronze medal.
