Jackson Kayak Dynamic Duo Carnage!
Jackson Kayak - It was June 24th, and it happened to be the peak runoff day on the South Fork of the Payette. Flows were approximately 11,000cfs. It was a Friday afternoon. It was one of my best friend's birthdays and the plan was to have everybody celebrate up at camp after having some fun. Everything about the day was awesome.

I never seem to tire of the routine. At times I stop and reflect and think that perhaps there is something else I should be doing instead. Then I think....why would I?

worldkayak blogs - Last week was the American River festival and I had a great time. On Saturday, I boated down to the play feature (First Threat). It's a very intimidating and big feature and I used to be scared of it, but with the help of fellow Jackson Kayak team members Hilde Schweitzer, Mike Fentress, Phil Boyer, Colin Kemp, and my dad, it's no longer that nerve raking.
