The SUP/Prone Paddleboard portion is from Waimea Bay to Haleiwa Alii Beach and is open to the public. It is a community driven FUN-raiser Paddleboard "race" mainly for family, friends and the weekend-warrior. The IR Eu Ambassador Contest 2013 Is on Immersion Research - For a third consecutive year, IR EU is opening the ambassador contest up to European boaters. This is Your chance to win $1,500 worth of IR stuff and a year as part of our team. 2013 Crew Youth Challenge Kayak Program Last Week worldkayak - Every year we ask ourselves if it will be a good one. This was no exception. The group was small this year and when we met them we looked at each young face and asked what would they think, would they like this and would they walk away just a little bit different. The answer could be seen on their faces on Tuesday evening at Lamoureux Park. Oregon Whitewater Association Youth Summer 2013 Newsletter worldkayak - I recently helped organize the World Kayak Family Fun Day on the beautiful White Salmon River and met some awesome kids. Amedeo is 10 years old and he enjoyed the day with his parents and his sister Aurora who is 7 years old. Both these kids were patient, kind and full of smiles. Canoeing Gets Underway ICF - The World Games in Cali, Colombia got underway on 25th July with an amazing Opening Ceremony with approximately 4500 athletes from over 120 countries attending. The World Games includes the top athletes from events that are non-Olympic Sports.
