News Watch Headlines Going Greenland SUP Magazine - The UK's Charlie Head is no newbie to SUP expeditions. His first time stepping on an SUP he circumnavigated the Isle of Wight. That 14-hour paddle hooked Head, fueling his future expeditions, which, most recently included a trip from Land's End to London via the Thames. Making Our Way Down The Amazon Kayak The Amazon - July 28th Don, Darcy, Midge made it to the source of the Amazon! It is a beautiful place, and we all feel lucky to have made it this far. We saw flamingos on the drive to Lago Acocacha (which we paddled across to reach the source) and saw a Condor on our paddle across the lake. Big Silver 2013 Adam Frey - I probably went up to the Big Silver drainage 6 times this year since March. It is my favorite place in BC so far not just for boating but the exploration aspect, hot springs, camping and just general unique beauty of the place, which keeps me driving the 50+ km dirt road to get there. Kuzi Project Launches SUP Magazine - Seth Warren and Kirk Hollis have officially begun the Kuzi Project, their downwind adventure on the east coast of Africa. The duo are currently off Mozambique, traveling up the Quirimba Archipelago using the southern Kuzi tradewinds to paddle their gear-laden SUPs up the coast. There'S Light At The End of The Tunnel Jackson Kayak - Even for seasoned anglers, there are days when things just don't go right. This trip began that way for me. My first cast to a brushpile was about 10 yards off, I was timing my hook sets wrong, I lost three good fish to simple errors, and to top it off I didn't check my drain plug – so at the end of the day I collected about 5 gallons of the Brazos River. Kai Bates - South Coast Ripper Fanatic SUP - Aussie team riders Kyron Rathbone and Kai Bates joined forces to shoot a video at the South Coast of Australia. Outdoor Retailer Demo Shows Off SUP Boards & Gear SUP Connect - Yesterday was the Open Air Demo at the Outdoor Retailer summer market where more paddle boards than one can imagine were lined up along the beach for those in attendance to test and try at Pineview Resevoir in Utah. The "Outdoor Retailer Summer Market" was a cool place to be as all the manufacturers and their representatives conversed with retail purchasers and media about the SUP gear. Reports and Results : Lost Mills International SUP Race EU SUP Association - The 2013 Lost Mills International SUP Race has been a great event. Despite a terrible forecast with cold, rainy weather everything was prepared for the riders to have fun and enjoy the event. There has been plenty of actions with 200m sprints, inflatable races etc… As well as a 6 Stars Long... VILAYTA is one Hardcore surfer SUPboarder - Tenerife local, Vilayta (David Rodal Santiago) has been SUPing in the Canary Islands for a long time now. And from this video it looks like he's got the spots pretty much nailed. He is one full on surfer and taking 40 foot drops is always going to test your kit to the max. The way Vilayta surfs he probably does get through afew boards every year! 25 Years of Cherry Creek Rafting All Outdoors WW Rafting - There has been plenty of reminiscing around here lately.  Last year we hit the big 5-0 in terms of years on California rivers–and this summer we realized that we've been on the mack-Daddy of the them all, Cherry Creek for 25 years! Scott Mestrezat's Missouri River expedition update SUPboarder - The ups and downs of a SUP challange… 700 miles done but still so many more to go. On June 7th, 2013 Scott Mestrezat set off on his SUP to paddle the length of the Missouri River from Three Forks, MT to St. Louis – 2400 miles in total.
