News Watch Headlines 2nd Simposio de Kayak Pacifico Sur - SKPS Kokatat Blog - I arrived in Valdivia, Chile for the 2nd South Pacific Sea Kayak Symposium a few days before the event. Mainly to allow for jet lag apparently 1 day for every hour and to learn some Spanish words. Specifically words to help me coach better, such as 'move your torso to the left'. Hiking down to the put in at Big Banana falls is a nice walk through beautiful jungle. Arriving at the put in you come out of the jungle and right up onto a beautiful open beach looking up at a perfect waterfall. Christmas update on public votes in each category for 2014 World Paddle Awards World Paddle Awards - This month votes have been coming in thick and fast from the public on Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus – worth 50% of the overall weighting. The other 50% comes from the Academy who vote over two rounds. The results from Round 1 are now in and Round 2, the Academy's final vote, has commenced this week. Keyhole Waterfall Project Confluence - Team Dagger athlete Aniol Serrasolses spent some time in British Columbia attempting the first descent of the Keyhole waterfall. The third and final segment of the Keyhole Project video series was released today on RedBull.com. Maiden Voyage Red Kayak Angler Magazine - On the maiden voyage of his new Thresher, Wilderness Systems pro Bobby Clark landed a new personal best. I wanted to see how it performed in the skinny water near Freeport, Tx,said Clark. SUP Examiner Reviews the X-14 Pro SUP Surf - The SIC X-14 Pro's silky smooth glide was immediately noticeable from the moment I took my first stroke. The board simply slides over the water's surface with an elegant glide and effortlessly gets up to speed within seconds. Poza Azul Extreme Race Costa Rica 2014 worldkayak - This year the Poza Azul Extreme Race took place on Saturday November 22nd with 24 participants from all over Costa Rica, the USA, Canada, Austria, Ecuador, Peru, and Mexico. Nice Now Link It to a Loop PeakUK - As I start to reflect on the last 12 months and plan for 2015, I'm excited that I will be spending a large chunk of next year training with my coach Den at some of the most amazing venues around the world. As I sit here putting together my 2014 wrap up video I have been reminded of some of the huge progress I have made with Den's help during this year. Costa Rica Sarapiqui Boater Cross Race 2014 worldkayak - This years Sarapiqui Boater Cross took place on Friday November 21st, beginning at the bridge in La Virgen, Sarapiqui, and running 500 mts downstream. We had 27 participants from all over Costa Rica, the USA, Canada, Austria, Mexico, Ecuador and Peru.
