I wanted to see how it performed in the skinny water near Freeport, Tx, said Clark. 2014 Retrospect Jackson Kayak - I took a vacation just in time to watch the ice go out on the Penobscot River. The river crested at 117,000cfs this spring and it's northwest branch still holding back water at 1700cfs to negate flood conditions. I searched in vain for a giant wave but the pack ice made the search in vain. Winter Pool Training SquareRock - Since the start of winter I have been using the local Kingfisher swimming pool to practice my squirt boating. The warmth makes a pleasant change, and the clear water is very helpful when trying to see what I'm doing upside down. Boylo's Wave of the Winter SUPboarder - SUP surfing in the UK is booming. Our shores are full of nooks, crannies, bays, beaches and reefs that provide some awesome wave riding conditions! Boylo's Watersports in Lyme Regis know this and have come up with a competition to help prove the point.
