CKS Squad CKS Squad: Far Northern Bc
The author on the first slide. Corey Boux Photo After our trip down the Grand Canyon of the Stikine, we were able to get on a cool river just outside of Terrace, BC. Take a look on a map and find Terrace...it's out there. And the general feeling you get while paddling some of the local creeks is of isolation. This particular river or "creek", The Khtada River, required a half an hour ferry across the Skeena River and then hike up the creek for roughly 2 hours.

The Water Cycle The Water Cycle: Upper Lucumayo River
Zak on the Lucumayo Following our Mapacho expedition, we had a long journey back to Cusco. The last leg of our journey was an afternoon bus from Quillabamba to the big city. The route took us further up the wide Urubamba River for an hour or so before the road splits off up a side canyon to go over a pass. Driving up this tributary, we were all pretty intrigued to see lots of continuous, apparently runnable whitewater.

Evan Garcia Evan Garcia: Thanksgiving Hucking
For Thanksgiving we went to our home run here in Pucon Chile, the well known Palguin. With a good crew of folks we ran the Upper and lower run... with a portage of the scary middle we ran like 2 weeks ago. While on the upper run Jared and I fired up the nasty portage once again... Jared went first, plugging deep and pulling some sort of sick donkey-panam-spiderman flip off the 20 footer.
