After what seems like a really long and uneventful spring term at school back in the U.K, the overnight drive to the southern French Alps was a shear pleasure. I was so happy to get out of the flat dry areas of the U.K and hit the mountains and melt water of the Durance area in France.

This has got to be one of the best class IV-V runs in the state. The scenery is leaps and bounds above any other run I have ever done, it makes Giant Gap and Burnt Ranch look like the Lower American.

OR Rafting Team OR Rafting Team: The agony of victory
At 40 years of age my body cant take the hits it used to. Celestial Falls dropped me from it's heaven into the bowels of mortality. The intense pain of a 4 hour dislocated hip hammered home the message that I need to grow up.
