The river is sometimes rumored more of a trial than a good run. The fact that the Devil himself is implicated in the river's origin may be disconcerting to some.

Werner: Werner Paddles Company Picnic There were many people who got in a kayak or on a stand up board for the first time. Werner.SR.SUP Werner Sr. and Jr. both attended. Werner Sr. at 82 years old decided he wanted to give the stand up board a go. He wiped out twice, but got up both times to try again.
