The West Fork Gorge Northwest Video Scrapbook - The West Fork Gorge flows south between two major drainages in the Columbia River Gorge. Many paddlers have driven over the main branch of Major Creek, but few consider actually looking upstream enough to find the gorge. I had heard tales of fifty foot waterfalls and an un-runnable gorge.

Taylor's NOC-Shoot out Photos New River Academy - This past weekend the school stayed at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, where most people in the southeast begin their boating journey. However, of course, we were there for a different reason. We were there to train our little hearts out and be ready for the competition NOC would be holding.

Over the past few months Kalob and several other Airborn Team Members have made trips to the Rideau River, an amazing tributary to the Ottawa River, with both creeking and play boating options!

Opal Creek: Mine to Salmon Falls Mt. Hood H2O - Matt here, throwing up a post my darn self. Eric, Rick, Emile, and I went down to Opal last Sunday for some sunny day fun. Flows were around 1250. We put in at the mine and boated all the way down to salmon falls.

Showdown at the NOC corral New River Academy - Over the weekend NRA went to the Nantahala Outdoor Center for some old fashion competin'. We all had a super sweet time surfing the constantly changing feature. I was super stoked on the weekend because i threw a sweet loop that landed me in place for the finals in which I placed fifth.

A Week in Charleston - Part 1 Savannah Canoe and Kayak - East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival came and went with the speed of a Ben Lawry 'paddle by' this last weekend. Glad to say that all the usual friendly faces were there, including a few new ones. Vendor attendance was at an all time high this year, as was pre-registration for on-water classes.
