News Watch Ambrosio Takes It Up a Notch on Paddle Board SUP Connect (Monday 21st) ***** - Supermodel returns to Hawaii and showcases her stand up paddle boarding skills, but this time she takes it up a notch with new gadget on her board. Alessandra Ambrosio may be a newbie to stand up paddling but she is no stranger to the water. The thirty-year-old Brazilian has been surfing for years. She told local press on her last trip to Hawaii, "I love surfing, and Waikiki, for me, is the best place to surf." The first part is a bit of a mellow creeking one around Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, and area that not a lot of paddlers get to see with water in the rivers. Double the expected flows are pouring over an unexpected drop. Everybody else ran it and was fine. I've never run a drop this big. The portage has poison oak and wet cliffs. Paddling almost every day, running tons of good waterfalls, eating lots of tacos , drinking tequila and enjoying life! Self Support Grand Canyon LL Ladies Lounge (Friday 18th) ** - Next week I will be paddling for 13 d ays on the Grand Canyon with a fun group of paddlers from Colorado, New Mexico, and Oregon. 10 guys , and 6 badass women! The women are Lana Young-Hood River, Tammy Ritchey-Colorado Springs, Susan Hollingsworth-Portland, Jenn Peterson-Portland, Tina Swan-Denver, and Lisa Marie-Salida. GB Freestyle Team for 2012 Sam Anderson (Monday 21st) ** - This years Hurley rodeo had to be postponed until February due to low water levels so the GB team for next years European Championships has now been finalised despite not having a date for the Euro's in Vienna. This years winners of the league series were crowned British Champions ... Mexico-Part 1: TV Madness Jackson Kayak (Thursday 17th) ** - I have been going to Mexico for 5 years now, this being my 8th trip. There are so many rivers in the world, so many destinations, why back to Mexico. I am drawn here, the scenery, the people, the food, the rivers, and my friends. This trip is an interesting one to say the least. Kayak Pucon and the DD Drysuit Immersion Research (Sunday 20th) * - I remember when I start my kayak school 9 years a go, was a dream coming true, Pucón was a very little town in the south of Chile, full of rivers and mountains, perfect for practice every Outdoor sport. I start to do some ducky trips and specially my kayak courses, at that time my kayaking gear was very basic for teaching kayak in a very cold lake water, ... Nevados! New River Academy (Friday 25th) * - The Nevados is one of the best runs in Pucon. It has made it in to many videos, not just because of the amazing white water but because of the beauty of the gorged in creek. The steep gorge walls are covered with moss, vines and other plants. The green of the plants is exaggerated by the grey stone walls. Mesa Falls Trip Report Jackson Kayak - Mesa Falls is the quintessential park and huck waterfall in the Jackson, WY area. The falls is located in Idaho bordering Yellowstone National Park.  The left side drops 20 feet into a short pool, which leads into a 35-foot falls. Mesa has boatable flows almost year round and provides kayakers a fun drop that is extremely photogenic.

A day in Gold River Rafting Life - 24 hours on the North Island. Lead in to Tombstone Rapid. What to do when you only have a little bit of time in Gold River? Well you go paddling… Lots. Arriving on Saturday night I met up with the gang in Gold River, specifically at the Gold River pool. The one building that is open the latest in town.
