Jackson Kayak 2011- A Year (River) of No Return
Jackson Kayak - I live on the River of No Return, the Salmon River in the heart of Idaho. I ran this river for the first time when I was four years old upon my father's raft. Since this time it has taught me many life lessons in addition to teaching me how to surf. My year-end review is a good news/ bad news story where most of it takes place along the banks of the Salmon.

Jackson Kayak Fly Fishing – Rogue Style
Jackson Kayak - One of the boats I was the most excited about this year was our Rogue. When I first learned of it, I immediately had some trips in mind. With my whitewater and fly fishing heritage, there's been a lot of places that I've come across over the years that were impossible to access in anything but a whitewater kayak (not even a Coosa), but had good fish potential.
Tony Paradise Certifiable
Tony Paradise - Catching one Awoke this morning to a dusting of snow on the ground. By midday the temperature had climbed to 3C but with west winds blowing at 30 with gusts to 45, the wind chill was -3C. A perfect day for some playtime.
SW Sea Kayaking Seanna Chnoc
SW Sea Kayaking - I should probably take a few minutes to straighten the horizon in the pic above, but life's too short and I'm too lazy. Anyway, it shows the distinctive islet of Seanna Chnoc ('old hill'), dominating the horizon offshore of the island of Bernera.
Kayak Yak Thetis Lake
Kayak Yak - Hard to believe it's been a month since we were last on the water. Life is like that sometimes. Even though it was a brisk 1 degree as we headed out in the morning, the sun was occasionally poking through the clouds and the cool air certainly woke us up.

Hans Heupink Exploring new land: the Sand Motor by seakayak
Hans Heupink - The Sand Motor is a large amount of sand (about 21 million m3) which is recently deposited in front of the Dutch coastline, roughly situated between Rotterdam and the Hague, in the shape of a peninsula of about 100 hectares. Wind, waves and sea currents will spread the sand around, creating new land...
gnarlydog GEAR: Flat Earth Sail Code ZERO
gnarlydog - Flat Earth Kayak Sails has provided me with a new sail for testing. I have been very satisfied with the design and quality of Mick's sails in the past and I now use them exclusively on all of my kayaks. I believe the design is superior to the ones I designed and they are easier to use.
