The Next Horizon Line Dog Days to Another Missed Green Race
The Next Horizon Line - After Quebec, things really wound down around K-town as the dog days of summer kicked in. We had a few good days here and there (Juicy Crooked Fork, Thunderhead into Tremont), but in general it was Ocoee and mountain biking time. I even had some time to sneak a few good hiking trips in there.
Fat Paddler Imagine if Red Bull Sponsored Kayaking
Fat Paddler - The other day I was thinking about the awesome range of sports that Red Bull sponsors: Air Races, Formula 1, Motorcross, Sky Diving and practically every other extreme sport you can imagine. I thought to myself, wouldn't it be awesome for kayaking to have a sponsor like Red Bull who put so much into building [...]
PaddleBlogs Team Riverbug.me: Meine Hausbäche (my local creeks)

Level 6 New Freestyle Section in French Club
Level 6 - ...I created a freestyle section in my club. I had to impose this idea since freestyle kayak isn't a discipline very extended and recognized in France. The main goal was to teach the basics of freestyle while having fun : slides, Eskimo rolls, front points, balance...
Jackson Kayak How to Flat-Water loop
Jackson Kayak - There are many different ways that you can be taught how to flatwater loop. I find it easiest to think about learning the flatwater loop in 4 main steps. The double-pump to bowstall, the bounce, the throw, and the loop stroke. The first step is to learn the double pump. The double pump is a two stroke step where you take a forward stroke and then a back stroke while on edge.
Jackson Kayak Heaveny Post-Gauley Season: 5 Boat Wave is Back!
Jackson Kayak - Or did it ever really leave?   The much anticipated 5-Boat World Kayak Rodeo was moved to Canyon Doors this year after locals discovered the perfectly – shaped medium size wave that forms below Koontz Flume on the Lower Gauley was gone.   Thankfully post Gauley Season levels sprung back up high with regional rains and Dane Jackson and Stephen Wright decided to go see for themselves … and ended up surfing the next several days straight.

Fluid Blog - I've been having a great time paddling the Element. It's a little weird, since I'm paddling an ocean surf kayak on river waves, but once I got used to it, I started to really enjoy it.
