Wavesport Blogs First Comp of the season.. Check!
Wavesport Blogs - Getting ready for the tour that I have planned for this summer is stressful, getting all of our gear squished in the RV while training in the process. Its already mid March and we have competed in one event. The Alabama Mountain Games is a great trial run for the rest of the season.
Exploring Elements Discovered: Previous Adventures Video
Exploring Elements - When I started ExploringElements.com I also started a YouTube channel to showcase new productions and create a home for some of my old films from the Go Big Distribution days, when I represented Fluid Kayaks in North America, and my old personal Vimeo channel.
Jackson Kayak Futaleufu Update! Big Water Awesomeness!
Jackson Kayak - After six more weeks in Chile, I just got back home to the Southeast. This was my third trip to Chile in the past two years, and I finally made it down to the Rio Futaleufu! New River Academy stayed at a local rafting company, called Cara del Indio, for three weeks of big water awesomeness! Stephen Wright was coaching us all quarter, and this was an awesome opportunity for all of us to improve our big water river-running and playboating skills.

Playak Independent Review: Pelican Flow 106X SUP
Playak - I tested the Pelican Flow 106X SUP, a board not like many others. For a start, it's made of thermoform plastic, which is quite normal for Pelican kayaks, but is hardly ever seen in SUPs. And then there is the question which environment the board is made for.
surfski.info 2012 King of the Harbour (incl. NZ Surfski Champs)
surfski.info - It's only a few weeks until the 11th King of the Harbour Ocean ski race and excitement is building in the surf ski community.  It's a close-knit group and all agree that our race here in Auckland is unique in the world and one of the best.
Wilderness Systems Fishing the Spawn: Boom or Bust
Wilderness Systems - It amazes me how quickly seasons can change. A few weeks ago we were battling heavily stained water, cool temperatures, and pre-spawn bass. Today, the water was gin clear, sans pollen, and pushing seventy degrees. The spawn is also in full swing with male bass patrolling and guarding nests and couples staking out shallow love nests making the code difficult to crack.
surfski.info Ohana Mana Cup downwind in 2012
surfski.info - Italian bureaucracy is a huge pain and Guido Cali the organiser has being fighting for permission to allow the race to cross the bay from Cagliari to Villasimius or vice versa depending on wind direction and he seems to have got it together after much browbeating by myself and others that downwind is the way to go.
