Tusker Rock Outing beyond the break - With my wet kit still in the car from yesterday's it seemed a sensible decision to join Hywel and Chris for a short excursion out to Tusker Rock from Southerndown. Chris still has not recovered his stolen kayak , and has now replaced his plastic Scorpio with a composite boat. He was keen to get it ... Fall Snook Bite! Steve Gibson - Every fall season I get the chance to fish one of my favorite Snook fisheries here in SW Florida, The Myakka River. The bite usually starts in November and runs through late February.This year we had a very short time period that the Snook were in the river do to the warm winter we had. First Cruise of 2012: Lake Alvin - March Kayaking the Lakes of South Dakota - This has been an exceptionally mild winter on the northern plains. Only a few inches of snow have fallen in the Sioux Falls area, and that has almost all disappeared. Only a few scattered piles of snow remain in shaded areas. Personal Best while standing in a Coosa! Jackson Kayak - Let me start off by saying, I have been fishing for 26 years (Since I was about 7,) mostly from the bank, casting, hoping, and praying to catch a monster bass. I would watch those fishing shows on Sunday mornings before church and see them reel in these huge bass and think: one day that's gonna be me.
