Perhaps not the best choice for the first day in a new boat, but after a minor hick-up and adjustment, the boat and I were getting along great. He also took the long distance ocean race on his 14′ Carbon Ace Pro by more than 3 minutes, and a close 3rd in the open division of the wave riding event after winning all his heats.
