I have been wanting a kayak for some time and had looked at the store but nothing seemed to work for me. After some time of looking around on the net I came across the Jackson line of kayaks. Annabel Anderson, Danny Ching Dominate Carolina Cup SUP Magazine - Danny Ching and Annabel Anderson dominated this weekend in Wrightsville Beach, N.C., taking wins home from the annual spring event, the Carolina Cup. The two champs faced heavy fields of competition that included hundreds of competitors racing for World Paddle Association (WPA) points at the first WPA event of the year. Back to The Long Rod Steve Gibson - I recently realized that I have been neglecting my fly rods for a very long time now. The last couple of days I have been back at it for a couple hrs in the morning. Jenny Kalmbach Shines At The Carolina Cup Naish - Naish's Jenny Kalmbach participated in the 3rd annual Carolina Cup race this past weekend and paddled her way to the podium, earning 2nd place in one of the largest and most respected SUP events of the year. Over 449 racers competed and over 40 states and an estimated 5 nations were represented. Lake Alvin in Early Delayed Spring Kayaking the Lakes of South Dakota - I have not cruised on Lake Alvin since last November. The spring has been delayed for about a month this year, and people are just now getting out on the area waterways. This morning I decided to take advantage of the best forecast of the upcoming week and drive out to Lake Alvin. Naish Team Makes Their Mark At The Sup World Series in Ubatuba, Brazil Naish - Naish's Kai Lenny placed 2nd overall as a direct result of his impressive 2nd place finish in both the sprint and long distance races. His strategy for the Long Distance Race, don't push too hard early on to conserve energy, but then go for broke at the tail end of the course to get the result. Amazing job.
