A whole bunch of Ing's - Slob ice had blown along the easterly breeze; filling my little cove I call home. Sizing up the consistency and depth I decided I could push the 100 meters through to the open harbour. Being Christmas eve I didn't have a lot of time to play with.

SUPboarder - On 18-20th October 2013 the 'Tidal Bore Festival' took place in Sarawak Malaysia. A fun event including not only tidal bore surfing but also longboat paddling competitions, other watersports, a food and trade fair and a night of entertainment. The Batang Lupar River is supposively famed for its crocodile infested water, so not surprising that it looked as though it was mainly the local SUP surfers crazy enough to take part! Maybe one to put on the bucket list!!
