Chris Bertish Sets New World Record SUP Magazine - Chris Bertish talks about his most recent achievement of setting the world record for 12-hour open ocean paddling off the South African coast near his home, covering nearly 130 kilometers in that time in great downwind conditions. This guy is super stoked as he plans to undertake many projects in future for good causes for which he hopes he receives sponsorship. A year back, Chris finished an expedition of crossing the Thames River in 3 and half days. He is quite turbo charged even at the age of 39, inspiring. 2014 Wild Rivers Night ECHO - OR/ID River Rafting - The 2014 Wild Rivers Night took place on January 9th at the Patagonia Store in Portland, OR and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect event. With over 225 attendees, a powerhouse of speakers and conservationist from all over Oregon and Tim Palmer as the master of ceremonies, this is one night we'll be talking about all year. Lina has shown impressive results becoming the current Canadian Champion, Ta-Ho Nalu Champion and Paddle Royal Champion and finishing 3rd in the BOP distance race. It would be interesting how Lina performs this year being associated with SIC as she races competing with the world's best athletes. Orlando Convention Center H2YO - Pool time at Surf Expo 2014 with my peeps! It's been a busy weekend at Surf Expo but I always find time to get in the water regardless of where I'm at. Thank you BIC Sport for getting us some pool time for my fleet of BIC Boards.
