As one of the worst Winters on record in the Arlberg was drawing to a close, we headed out to the Indian Himalayas for what was to be a remarkable adventure.   We had been commissioned to make a film about our adventures and just Sinking Star! SquareRock - It is the prevailing opinion that once you are too heavy for your kayak, you need another. However I have found a practical alternative… Squirt Boating! The only kayaking discipline in which sinking is desired. Because I can still fit into my Jackson Kayak Shooting Star (it is most definitely not easy), it provides a fantastic base from which to start squirt boating. Day 1 of the World Sup Challenge in Rome SUPboarder - The viking from Denmark stormed to victory in the sprint races here at Severa Beach in Rome, Italy, on the final stop of the European Cup presented by Starboard. After some great racing in the heats, Casper Steinfath (Naish) dominated the final. Hounds and Ray make for a great day. Jackson Kayak - Oxwich Bay on the Gower Peninsular offers some of the best fishing in the UK. The number of species that can be caught here is phenomenal and I always look forward to my visits to the area. Kayakers Rescued Near Anacortes Kayak Yak - Nine kayakers were rescued near Anacortes in Washington State yesterday. According to reports , a "Coast Guard aircrew from Air Station Port Angeles, aboard an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter and a Navy aircrew from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Search and Rescue, aboard an MH-60 Knighthawk helicopter, ... Middle Kaweah The Next Horizon Line - As my brother eluded to in the previous post, we spent a lot of time at the Kaweahs thanks to stellar hosting by Darin Mcquoid and Shanamar Dewey.  We arrived in Three Rivers hot off a quick run on the Dinkey Creek Waterfalls just before the run dropped out.  Competing at Night: World Cup Finals Jackson Kayak - World Cup this year was an amazing trip. We had a lot of fun just traveling together in a big group with a lot of my close friends. We also pulled out some tourist stops and visited a couple beaches, ate some good sea food at the Mediterranean and did some good kayaking too. Though one of most favorite times was being able to kayak at night for the Finals of the last event of the World Cup in Sort. The 2015 Fun! Jackson Kayak - If I had to live in a world where I could only have one boat, this is that boat. It has displaced my beloved Fun Runner from that position. If you have paddled any of the previous fun series iterations and find yourself liking the style of boat, you are in for a treat. Worth the wait...
