Jackson Kayak The Plaice Chase – 2015
Jackson Kayak - This is a great event, and the marks the start of the sea fishing kayak meets and comps for the year. The usual venue is Southborne but the forecast was looking dodgy all week and with its notorious shore dump it was likely that as many kayak anglers would be getting wet landing as didn't, so Lofty made the sensible decision to move it to Sandbanks which at least gave a sheltered launch and landing.

Kokatat Blog Jondachi Fest: Saving Ecuador's Jondachi River
Kokatat Blog - The Upper Jondachi is considered Ecuador's most classic steep creek. It's 6 miles of class 4-5 creeking through a lush jungle gorge. In addition to the Upper, there are Middle and Lower sections of the Jondachi with equally, if not more beautiful, scenery and slightly easier class 3-4 rapids. Will Herman Reflecting on Wastwater
Will Herman - Of all the Cumbrian lakes, Wastwater remains a favorite haunt. Markedly busier in the summer months than I remember it when I could legitimately call the area home, it is still less frequented than most simply by virtue of its inaccessibility. And in the winter it retains a sense of wild beauty long since lost in many places on the eastern side of the fells.
