Kokatat Blog Ice Age Bass'n
Kokatat Blog - Two gentleman from Louisiana and a long time friend from the Philadelphia area made the trip north to fish with me on the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. The smallmouth bass cooperated nicely. We brought a lot of fish to hand and even caught three citation class fish. All were returned to the water unharmed to bring enjoyment to another angler in the future. It was a great day on the water with old friends and new.
Kokatat Blog How late in the season should I wear my dry suit?
Kokatat Blog - Spring fishing rolled in with warmer temperatures. However, the sudden rise in air temperatures misleads the uninitiated kayak angler into thinking dangerous conditions have passed. Not so. The water temperatures are barely scratching the 50-degree mark, which is still too cold to go for a long swim if your kayak were to roll.
NRS Duct Tape Diaries Push your Limits, not your Luck
NRS Duct Tape Diaries - Before leaving the house to spend time in the mountains, if one can call the hills near my hometown mountains, my mom would always yell out the door Make smart choices, Kyle. in a demanding, yet loving, way that only a mother can master.

SeaKayakPhoto.com Mariners Once More, on Loch Moidart.
SeaKayakPhoto.com - We relaunched into the sea waters of Loch Moidart below the falls in the River Shiel. Partly as penance for portaging we played for a bit breaking in and out of the jet of water which was pouring into the loch from the cascade.
Alex Mauer Rock Island and Tuck Fest
Alex Mauer - Packing my bags, I sit on the edge of adventure. Being eaten away by the anticipation of what is yet to come. Only one thing being certain. At the end of my journey it would be a blink in my lifespan. If I made it that far.
Rediscovering North America For The First Time in Forever

Reiner Glanz Corsica - Ile de Beaute - Easter Sessions Part deux
Reiner Glanz - After a week of shredding in Finale Ligure I decided to pic up Manuel Köhler in Nizza and take the ferry to Bastia.  Like  pretty much every easter, a trip to Corsica marks the end of our powder weekends and gets us started into our kayaking season. This year we spend only 5 paddling days but got happy as we had pretty good levels on most of the rivers. The Vecchio, Fium Orbo, Travo, Tavignano, Taravo and the Liamone made us smile and enjoy life in the water.

Kayak Yak 1860 Victoria Inner Harbour
Kayak Yak - What I like best is seeing the variety of boats in the harbour, including steamers as well as sloops and yawls and brigantines. The little rowboat and First Nations canoe near the shore on the lower left are most appealing. It seems that these boat-users would put a sail on just about any vessel, no matter how small.
Jackson Kayak First River Trip With the CoosaHD
Jackson Kayak - In early March, I was able to get in a little river float with my new CoosaHD. I was joined by fellow Jackson teammate Evan Howard and a couple of other fishing buddies, on a quest for Alabama Spotted Bass. For me, the day was as much about spending time with the new kayak as it was about catching fish, but its always better if you tussle with a few spots.
Jackson Kayak Snookzilla
Jackson Kayak - Its been a personal goal this year to venture out of my comfort zones in search of giant snook in the back country. With the weather cooling down the "big" word become ever so prevalent; The transaction. I began pealing off my pursuit of Permit, tarpon and bonefish and begin plowing into the backcountry into bug infested swamps. I made it a personal goal to learn how to read new water.
